If the public catches wise who is doing nothing to stop those riots, the Democrats very likely never will be.
The Cabinet has the authority to remove him by a majority vote. He has to appeal to Congress within four days. It then flips and flops for about a month and it takes a two-thirds votes of both Houses of Congress to finally kick his butt out into the street.
That is so silly. If the President is in a coma how can he appeal the decision to remove him? The 25th Amendment was written to get rid of scum like impeached trump.
He can't that is the point. Its the appeal process that makes this section laughable. I despise this man more than anyone, but even I would not vote to remove a duly elected President from office appealing an initial claim under the 25th, without a medical diagnosis, and a medical opinion on his capacity to seek and respond to treatment from whatever it is that supposedly 'ails' and incapacitates him sufficiently. The questions any congressman will need to get answered in a committee to justify removal will meet legally significant stonewalls. You have to convince a supermajority in both bodies to do just that. He is under no legal duty to cooperate and even see a doctor, or undergo any physical mental or psychological tests on which a medical opinion must be clinically based,, or release any information ascertained under strict medical confidentiality, should HE decide to seek a medical opinion or get tests. Any remedy that a majority of Congress seeks through legislation, meets a veto and there you go again. If the President is capable of filing the appeal consistent with the 25th, he wins because there is no way to oblige him to go through a process that might produce the evidence that the 25th practically speaking demands as a remedy. Impeachment is actually a better tool in the face of incapacity or incompetence.
Yeeerrrsss and if what he is doing is illegal and unconstitutional? Should we give every President absolute power to do whatever they want?
STILL waiting for you to address the questions: Why do you support spending $3,000,000,000,000 we do not have? If $3,000,000,000,000 is not too much money we do not have, how much is? Why?
As I said: Anyone with any knowledge, and a smidgen of intellectual honesty, will blame their governor. This explains why you blame Trump.
Problem is, the people who voted in the Democrats who allow their cities to burn aren't terribly perplexed by the issue. I mean, so long as -their- neighborhoods and business don't burn.
And right there in a tidy little pile is the difference between us small-town hicks here in Flyover Country compared to the numb and oblivious leftists. Dunno if this even partly describes the sentiment, but here goes. A few weeks back, I was up in Owosso, Michigan in support of barber Karl Manke, who defied the odious alleged governor Gretchen Whitmer over closing his barber shop and related beauty parlor. She sent seven state cops to order him closed. He reopened, and all of a sudden had supporters from all over Michigan, the midwest and one as far away as California. The principle was clear. Leftist idiot governors need to shut their mouths about running a small business. Whitmer's done her share to ruin some. The day I was there, a group of BLM people wanted to hold a big march, directly past Karl's shop. That time, I circled the blocks on both sides of the street facing his building. There were more than twenty state cops there to prevent any damage to anyone. Not to shut him down but now (partly) to protect him. That reversal from harassers to defenders was really a great touch. Karl even had Michigan State Police uniforms' shoulder-patches in a wall display. Nothing personal, they were only following orders! He's still open. And Whitmer's still dead wrong about small business.
Maxine Waters: Congress Can Remove Trump Without Impeachment She had better get on it then. The election is only weeks away.
The top one just declared he didn't as did the appeals courts. http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?posts/1072402002/
I think that Maxine has Muddied the Waters one too many times. Her time of playing the perpetual radical female canine is way past over.
