    The reason to impeach is because it's the only way in which we will.

    And their response will be "Nonsense! The Constitution says the House has "the sole power of Impeachment" And if you managed to get a 15 second explanation about how the Senate does the trial, and that they need two thirds of the vote, and that Republicans would not allow that to happen... and all that in 15 seconds or less. Their response will be "how would you know what the Senate would do if you can't even pass impeachment in the House?" I really think it would be a bad move not to impeach.

    I don't believe the goal of Impeachment is to remove the President. The main purpose of impeachment is to prove to the American people whether or not there are grounds for removing the President. If Democrats can't convince the public that this President committed impeachable actions, then this country is in bigger trouble than we thought, and removing or not removing Trump will do nothing to solve the problem. If the public is convinced, and Republicans in the Senate don't act on the evidence, then they lose, not only the presidency, but also the Senate.
