Yeah I know. Here is the thing about ancient civilizations. You have a long time to produce a small amount of OK art and claim cultural superiority. Meanwhile if you see how they lived your like "wow that sucks. You guys couldn't even figure out assembly lines?"

That's the problem, though - all the wonderful stuff Arabs have done are hundreds if not over a thousand years in the past. Compared to the US, parts of Europe, and Japan, Muslim culture, science, agriculture, architecture, the arts, and just about everything else have been largely in neutral as a whole for centuries now. Heck, you can define everything currently done in the Arab states by four things: Oil, terrorism, Islam, and Israel. That's it.

They have no version of Hollywood, nor a Silicon Valley. Heck, even the UK has some kind of cultural base affecting the world, at least with TV.

Until you familiarise yourself with the achievements of the Arabs, you should not discuss said achievements. 'Ok art'? Really?
