They've had FOUR offers including this latest common sense comprehensive offer which includes exactly what they wanted and more. They refuse to even discuss it. In one of those the WH floated lowering the money for more barrier security to $2.8B and what did the Democrats do, lower the $1.6B already in the budget to $1.3B. The latest is a win-win that could open the government back up. There is NO rational reason for the Dems to oppose it.

 

This has nothing to do with contractors and you know it. You are creating a strawman argument. If congress gives Trump his $5 billion which is 1/10 of 1% of the proposed budget, Trump has no choice but to follow through with the deal.

 

Nancy and the Dems don't care about the Dreamers. They have turned their back on them, all to support the cartels

Oh horseshit. You can predict every Democrat position once you understand that is exactly what they want, they want them pouring through, and deportations kept the the minimum they can achieve.

 

And as soon as we "crank up some actual large scale dreamer deportation", you can bet everything you own that some hyperliberal Federal judge(s) will shut the whole process down, or at least paralyze it indefinitely. You can't do anything because these conniving, America-hating liberals have infested the United States Judiciary from top to bottom.... I watched it happen, starting way back in the 1970's.

So, forget about our judicial system doing anything meaningful to enforce our immigration and/or deportation laws! We're hammerlocked!

 

I ask my liberal colleagues to listen to what Charles Krauthammer who was no supporter of a Trump presidency had to say about bordre security nearly two years before Trump was elected.

There is no reason for Trump not to open the government he proudly assumed the mantle of having shut down and, for which, he said he would not blame others. The government could then serve the nation's needs while negotiations continue.

For the two years that Republicans had controlled both houses of Congress, they never voted to fund his wall that he had repeatedly promised Mexico would pay for.

Why would he expect a Democratically-controlled House to suddenly give him American taxpayer's money when Republicans would not? - Especially when a majority of Americans support them and blame Trump?

 

Apparently Trump is using negotiating tactics taught at Trump University.

 

Her and Schumer have always owned it but this cements it. Pelosi and Schumer and complete tools and are about party and power over the American people. They are the very thing our Founding Fathers fought against and they would be tried and imprisoned for treason, if not worse.

If Mexican-American immigrants tended to vote REPUBLICAN the leftists would be bigger wall supporters than even Trump is.

 

We live in strange times! For the first time in world history a leftist (Pelosi) is AGAINST increased government spending (the wall)! Wow.
Next thing you know a Republican will be, oh, I don't know, say be doing something completely out of character like, say, oh, removing U.S. military from Syria, and even Afghanistan - over Democrat objections!! Hey, it COULD happen.

You should have done that last year when you had a better chance to pass it. Obama did it without taking any hostages.

 

They believe that Trump is evil - I'm not joking - so agreeing with Trump guy is the LAST thing they want to do, sadly. That's one reason why virtually every Democrat politician in America (ok, I'm exaggerating - its only about 90%!) is declaring their candidacy for president in 2020 to defeat Trump. They believe they are fighting evil.
