Nothing will matter to lot of people because they've committed themselves to lynching the cop (either literally or rhetorically) by putting a dead thug on the racial alter.
I'm not a fan of militarizing local police forces, but considering how stupid people are reacting during this, I can see why they feel the need to. Unfortunately, whats going on in MO will only encourage local police forces to make a case for arming up.

 

I work in a hospital in a the cat scan department.

Contrary to what it appear facial bones may look delicate but they are extremely strong. They are there to protect the brain and facial structure, I.E. support the eyes. I've seen front on highway crash victims with split arm and legs with no facial fractures.

It takes an immense amount of force to blow out an orbit.

 

Adrenalin can do a hell of a lot in a situation like that. When it's you or them there isn't room for distraction.

Absolutely. The leftwing media's darling 'Gentle Giant' was trying to maim or kill the officer. A trained martial artist or really good boxer could cause such damage during a brief scuffle but this giant man managed it through just sheer overwhelming strength. There was nothing gentle about him at that moment. Nothing at all.

It seems the loudest voices amongst the Saint Swisher Sweet crowd ( as with the TM crowd), are those who know the least about firearms, self defense, etc. They primarily rely on emotional resonance.

 

Yeah, I don't know. I took a nap so haven't looked. BUt consider that Zimmerman, that moron's situation. ABC posted the police station video and stated in the article he appeared uninjured. It took me one view to notice an officer was inspection the back of his head. His assault changed the argument f*ck all for the race merchants.

Two of my friends suffered from facial fractures during MMA bouts. I've fractured someone's cheek myself, without intending to hit that hard.

If one attacks a police officer they can and will be shot. Everyone knows that. We hire the police to defend our towns and people. We expect the Uniform to be respected. Just listen to some of Michael Brown's so-called music....(rap)....to know how he felt about the police.

And BTW, he also didn't respect store owners/manager as he seemed to believe what they had on their shelves should be free for his taking......as he roughed up the little guy on the way out. Sorry....but he would be alive today had it not been for his OWN actions.

 

MMA combatants frequently have said fractures, that's the risk of getting punched/kicked in the face. That being said have ofter does that happen? Not very or you would have a very short career as these fractures take quite a while to heal and often require reparative plastic surgery if severe enough or pressing on the orbit or optical nerve. If not you could go blind.

There is a difference between an orbit "fracture" and an orbit "blowout." A fracture is usually a small break. A blowout is an orbital bone equivalent of a compound fracture where the bones are completely separated. If you didn't know the difference.
