Well how exactly do you find out when the person keeps running away and you have no idea who they are or whose yard they are running into. GEEZ you place these ABSURD requirements on police that they somehow have physic powers and super vision and are invulnerable to a bullet coming from a fleeing suspect who just pulled a gun on them so they have to wait until he fires first to make sure it is a gun in his hand that he is raising at you.

Well said Hawgsalot. We see this all to often. Cops are edgy because they are targets. If you put yourself in a situation like that, don't expect a good outcome. However, this kid wasn't thinking about that he was just trying to get away. This type of incident will always bring out the inciters. Just like in Missouri, Cleveland and a dozen other places they only want to start a riot. It serves no one but the liberal political machines.

No matter what your race is, when the police tell you to DO something, or, NOT to do something, you had damned well better obey and not make any scary-looking moves or you may definitely get shot. This is not a difficult concept to grasp....

Hint: the police want to be able to be safe while they do their difficult jobs, and then at the end of their shift, to be able to go home and enjoy life, just like the REST of us.

The suspect in the aforementioned case, however, was indeed feared by law enforcement. Hence why he was shot.

 

What you propose is a situation that would quickly devolve into mob anarchy and chaos. Why will you not see the FACTS involved in this tragedy?

For whatever reason, Clark was spotted by the police in a scene of broken car windows and a broken rear window at a house. He was ORDERED to stop and to show his hands. Instead, he pointed what looked like a gun a the police, and there was a flash that appeared to come from whatever Clark was holding. So, they shot him. If he had done as he was told, he'd be alive today. He didn't, and so he is dead.

And so now Blacks all over Sacramento are enraged and raising hell because the police merely did their job. Does NONE of that resonate with you? And you would prefer that the police be disarmed, and rendered unable to defend our citizens from criminals? People with your irrational viewpoint would bring this country down around our ears, in total wreckage and dead bodies....

No, Mr "Truth" -- if the situation had been reversed, as you suggest, we'd have had the cops roaming around unarmed and helpless, and the perp would have had a weapon... right? So, the almost completely certain result of this farce would have been that the cops would have been shot by the perp... right? I don't see how you could disagree. The cops were trying to run down this suspect, and he was evasive, scared, and intent on getting away! Do you think he might have shot the cops if he had been armed? Do you think he might have been even more motivated to do that if he KNEW that the cops weren't armed...?
