    Yes, I'm sure automakers have to consider the projected future bans when they invest, but I don't believe that's the big issue.

    Automakers can not afford to simply surrender the size of the market that EVs are projected to take.

    The demand for EVs is growing too rapidly for automakers to ignore.

    Possible future bans do not affect near term demand. What we're seeing is that people do want the features that EVs deliver.
