You have surmized correctly - The point of the short and intermediate range treaties was to not make short -intermediate range cruise missiles. - of the nuclear variety. The idea being .. just way too easy .. ICBM's are not easy to make . a different league -- making a ballistic of that level. "Cruise missiles" ? .. tiny .. easy to hide .. it is not like lauching a rocket taking a satelite into space. Could put a bunch of these on a container ship

but .. since we pushed Russia into violating the treaty -- we now have them making these puppies -- and I assume we are making them now too.. so .. even prior to hypersonics we were marching towards making it easier and easier to annihilate each other... another problem is that this technology is proliferating to other nations

I am thinking sooner.. The Oceans are not likely to go another 25 years - without catestrophic damage ... at the rate of industrialization of the last 25 years. Taking us from 1.4 Billion to 2 Billion industrialized. - 6 Billion left to go.. and adding another 2 Billion to 10 Billion souls by 2050.

Fished out the Oceans pretty much with 2 Billion consumers .. those other 6 Billion want some fish too !

Anyway, socialism is collectivized production, not handing people money.

 

Biden is compensating people for Trump's cruel and illegal program of separating refugees from their children. Trump should be the one who pays from his personal fortune. He should also be on trial for it in the Hague but baby steps.

Socialism is anything conservatives dislike, according to conservatives. The only thing worse is communism and that engenders Nazism to oppose it, which is just misunderstood

 

Why? You can't leave children with criminals whether those criminals are their parents or not.
