Saudi Arabia to allow women to drive for the first time

Haha, you're posting out of your behind a lot today. Must be drinking too much of the sauce.

Why was it ILLEGAL (made against the law) for women to operate a motor vehicle. I'll give you one more chance to be HONEST (very hard for you to do), before citing the actual reason for everyone to see.

The KSA made it very clear why women can't drive. We know you're a propaganda feed for their best interests, but you're about to lose bad on this topic.

Now, care to be honest this time?

 

There was NO law that women couldn't drive and nothing in the Koran (women drove camels) It became the tradition because there were no roadside facilities for women.

 

And that's the part you picked up on, seeming to expect a response, while ignoring everything else? There are times which require some common sense.

Be honest? That's unlikely. The idea is to be critical of every aspect of America while defending everything Muslim and every Islamic country. It's the same M.O. used by many propagandists.

 

I don't need to know much about 'Arabia' to be aware of their hatreds, their terror programs, the treatment of women, Gays and little girls, their attacks on their neighbors, their antipathy towards education, and their hatreds of other religions and peoples.

 

And their 'traditions' always seem to involve more rights for some, adult Muslim men, and fewer rights for everyone else.

 

The tradition predates Islam and comes from Persia and the concept of Purdah... Separation of the sexes and the protection of women.

 

What neighbors has KSA attacked. They don't hate Americans or Christianity. There are gay communities in most Saudi cities and they are not bothered.. Its like the US gays in 1950. They are very big on education ... having built another 30 colleges and universities in the past 15 years. 67% of college students are women .. and women are flocking to Medicine, Engineering and Architecture.

 

Women drivers, unbelievable! What is this world coming to!

 

Saudi women are allowed to drive in the desert? What if they' run over a camel... could be dangerous!

 

Its a good place to learn and practice driving.. Bedouin women have been driving trucks in the desert for 50 years... Often big water tankers to water livestock.

There are 2 versions to that story.
One is where the girls were crushed when they all tried to run out of the building at the same time. And that the religious police arrived after the firefighters, not before to stop anybody from trying to run out.

They had an other fire the following year. 700 girls got rescued.

Well, a Republican candidate (Moore) who thinks homosexual acts should be against the law.

Republicans who think abortion should be illegal.

Republicans who think Planned Parenthood should be defunded.

Republicans who are against gays having the right to marry.

How about you google on "war on women", or on their idea's if an abortion may take place on a raped woman, point of view on the Violence Against Women Act. It goes as far that you can find GOP members being opposed against equal pay laws.
