If you can get Trump disqualified in 2024 and 2028, I’m all for it.

Merit would be a great qualification. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to apply.

The whole point of Democracy is to give and allow people to vote for whoever they want that is running for local government, or president, or whatever. You vote for people to represent you.

If you start to suppress people from running, or you suppress people from voting etc.., then that's undemocratic.

So are you a Democratic, the party that claims democracy is under threat and needs saved, but you wish to suppress Trump?

This post is short yet riddled with misinformation. First of all a president is not selected by popularity and thank god for that fact. We are not a democracy and the presidential election is far from democratic. If it were we would have had to put up with Hillary (puke).

Under Trump we seen a plethora of competency’s that we are not seeing today. We seen a peace agreement in the Middle East, we seen cheap energy, we seen a Russia that was not aggressively attacking their neighbors, we seen a N Korea that stopped shooting missiles, we seen Iran lose one of their most anti American generals at zero cost to American life,

    your post is horribly biased

I am sick of Trump. He is toxic. He has the support of 40% of the electorate. The opinions of the other 60% range from uncomfortable to fear and hatred.

I happen to think that most of his policies were sound, but his thin skinned demeanor and giant ego make him unfit to be president. All of the continuous carping about the 2020 election results finished it for me.

The smart Democrats should want Trump to run again because he’s very beatable. The dumb ones, like Biden, want to keep him from running, using the Justice Department, which is frightening, to keep him off the ballot.

I wish that Trump would retire and let someone else run. It’s time for a new generation.

But that's the irony, you think Trump was the worst president to the list you supplied. It's evident you base your views on who you like as opposed to the results they delivered.

Take Obama. He had to recover an economy from a recession. So things should go up, and they did. But if you look at America's history on recovering from recessions, Obama's recovery compared as sluggish, his policies caused a sluggish recovery. Then when it came to race relations, many had high hopes, but the guy was out of his depth. Race relations in America hit rock bottom due to Obama. As the BBC stated, Obama's presidency started on top of a mountain, and ended in the bottom of a valley. But the guy was liked, Fine Words Butter No Parsnips, so gullible people ignore what he failed to deliver and claim he was brilliant.

The democrats simply hated Trump's character, and as some have said, "If Trump had delivered a cancer cure, the Left would have attacked him for health service job losses". So the strength of ecomony from Trump and performance figures are irrelevant, dislike Trump so he's the worst president.

Take Biden, look at the performance levels with the economy under him, but that doesn't matter, the Left like Biden so he's brilliant compared to Trump. I agree, Trump has a dreadful character, but I'm not stupid enough to run on character. You are on the Titantic, the captain has Trump's character and he lambasts the crew, the ship sails around the iceberg. Or the captain has Obama's character, he speaks eloquently, his crew drink tea with him and applaud his quips, but the ship hits the iceberg and now you are sinking. Which captain would you like? Would you agree the foolish would want the results of an Obama captain? Would you like to live within a strong economy, or is everyone happy with the cost of living under Biden.

By all means look at character, I prefer to go by results, what's delivered. And by all means hunt and hunt about to find that graph that agrees with your beliefs, there are such skewed graphs out there.

So I just found your posts riddled with irony, most amusing. But many Americans are character orientated, that's how the majority vote. Us Brits are beginning to suffer this crap too, everything is more and more about character in Westminster.

Plethora of competency? says who? You?

The reality is that Trump is either at the bottom or within 1 or 2 presidents of the bottom and that is an assessment made by over 270 history scholars. Nonetheless, you know better, right? I am the biased one and you are not? You are going against the experts, but we are wrong and your are right! Don't make me laugh.

    Because I reject your assertion.

When does the Biden effect start to happen, he is claiming everything is great BECAUSE OF HIM..............is he lying and it really due to Trump?

Before you open your mouth to say something misinformed, you should do some research.

Trump was a failure as president. Here are 40 things that Trump himself promised to delivered and failed.

    Trump’s 40 Biggest Broken Promises
The president talks a good game—but it’s just talk.

Mind you that when he took office, the Republicans controlled both the Senate and the House and he was unable to deliver these promises.

Oh, and by the way, the tax cut that so many use as something that Trump did, is not something he actually did. The Republicans had wanted a tax cut for many years before Trump was even in the picture and it was them (McConnell and the House and the Senate) that delivered the tax cut. All Trump did was "sign" the papers. He had NOTHING to do with it!

Actually, Biden is the one that started with huge problems facing him and he has worked slowly to fix them. Trump inherited a growing and healthy economy from Obama and simply kept it going until he decided that we needed a Trade War with China and things started going south from there.

The numbers do not show Trump doing anything except maintaining what Obama accomplished.

Here are the GDP numbers that show that to be a fact.

Memes are great. Why think for ones self when it has already been done for you? I would never vote for the guy, the the total sum of his career in business and politics is extreme success. He also knows how to get under people skin and stay there. He is a train wreck, but still less harmful than competent Dem politicians.

Is that why the economy was doing so well, inflation was under control and wages were going up for lower income people working people? Before Coved, the economy under Trump was doing just fine.

Biden inherited an economy in a robust recovery and he screwed it up and no other President had an almost total economic shutdown so take COVID out of Trumps numbers.

Total sum of his career in business and politics is extreme success? How do you measure that?

He personally owed $1.1 billion dollars in 1998 and if it wasn't for the Russians, he would not have survived.

He started with $414 million of his daddy's money and 50 years later he is worth $3 billion. In comparison, Bloomberg started with ZERO (entry level job at an investement company) and is now worth $77 billion. Extreme success for Trump?

As a politician, he failed miserably. He needed to beat a woman (Hillary) who was hated by most people in order to win and he lost to a 78 year old man that was not considered to be much of anything. You call that "extreme success".

    I call it "blind luck".

Competency is whatever the American people decide.

In reality, this country already has term limits, competency tests, personality tests, etc.
