    Still a former smoker... they say never say never... but I doubt if I'll ever smoke another cig. Lost the desire about the same time I lost that hacking *koff* & shortness of breath I used to have. ;)

    Geesh, 85 degree right now... it's gonna be 200 by June. ~swelter~

    Good to be back. Toughest 2 hrs I've had in a long time. ;)

    Did homemade burgers tonight and wondered how much pink slime was in the meat. I've got mixed emotions about that stuff... Gov Perry visited a pink slime plant in support of the industry last week. As the daughter of a butcher, I'm not so sure I'm against it. Parts is parts. As the son of a butcher, wonder what Flounder thinks about it?

    Any thoughts on Soylent Pink?

    Don't eat anything less than the best you can afford.
    What you put in yer body ain't nuthin to play around with.
    Plus the best stuff is really dirt cheap like fresh carrots,celery
    potatoes,mushrooms,Greens.Fruits.
    Plus don't eat good meat overcooked on a grill.Char-burned is a NO NO.
    A pink steak is much better for you than well done.Well done meat actually
    causes problems.

    I have no idea what I feel like eating, but I figure there might be something decent on the menu. *opens it and has a look*

    Thought I might mention the not very important news that I have decided to move back home. Mum doesn't know yet, but she soon will. ;) I think she might need a drink at the bar before I tell her, though!

    When I was Kid those Slim Jim's were about the best thing I ever
    munched on.I won't touch em any longer.I did buy one the last year
    and was pretty good.But they're loaded with sodium and MSG and Nitrates.
    Really bad stuff.But I guess if there was an earthquake and all the
    grocery stores demolished I'd probabaly want some.

    Lots of bells & whistles... but the front page is still bare of vital information like who's logged on, most popular threads, rep list, post list, new members, etc. Not much of an improvement if we don't get that stuff back. Gonna take some getting used to... let's see if this works. Great way to start your day.
