Actually, it's been proven that the earlier problems are addressed, the better and less costly the outcome. The idea that health insurance is only for covering the catastrophic went out in the 1960's.

You think somehow the price goes down if there's an intermediary between you and your doctor?

You don't approve? Too effing bad. You're in the minority. Keep yapping against full health insurance all you want, 'cause you're on the losing end of the argument. Putz.

It's not my approval that's needed. This is a debate forum.
You're trying to make a point that everyone can buy a policy to cover every day costs that everyone will encounter and not have to pay for them in the cost of their policies, plus overhead, at minimum.

Say, what else of mine fo you think I owe you?

Having arthritis is predictable as one ages. If you don't insure yourself against such things ahead of time, that's your problem.

In 2008, it was a pre-existing condition that I was denied coverage for, so how do you insure for it if no such insurance existed?

Too busy and broke paying for everybody else's whatever. As to dying, well its really the only thing we all have do to, everything as is choice. And as a matter of choice, I choose to earn what I want, to buy what I want, to live as I please--not on my knees begging for what other's have, but on my own two feet, with head held high, and with a vision of the future where I'm not robbed and enslave for the public good.

Fact is...you live in a mythical world, if you believe that your tax burden pays for all your services you receive...and you pay the costs of others.

Your portion is about 160K. Are you all paid up?

What I said is that people shouldn't be denied coverage for pre-existing conditions.

Shove the services up an altruist ass, and keep the government the hell out of my bedroom, my living room, my pocketbook—in other words, the hell out of my life.

I don’t need or want government services; I want my life as my own.

Ayn Rand: “Morally, the promise of an impossible “right” to economic security is an infamous attempt to abrogate the concept of rights. It can and does mean only one thing: a promise to enslave the men who produce, for the benefit of those who don’t. “If some men are entitled by right to the products of the work of others, it means that those others are deprived of rights and condemned to slave labor.” (“Man’s Rights” in Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal.) There can be no such thing as the right to enslave, i.e., the right to destroy rights.”

That of course is true but it is not true for most people. I really doubt most people could afford the hundred thousand plus cost of cancer or major surgeries. My last big problem would have cost over two hundred thousand if I hadn't had the work done overseas.
