Speaking of goose stepping, didn't she oversee torture at a secret prison for a few months? Is that the sort of talent that you're so fond of? She seems a bit swampy to me, having taken part in such things, but then Trump's personal swamp and the D.C. swamp have risen and merged into one by now, haven't they?

Obviously you pass on the Black Rendition sites that Gina Haspel was assigned to by the Clinton Era CIA chief Tenet. It seems that the same treatment was used by the CIA under Clinton too. Remember a guy by the name of Ali Abdul Saoud Mohammed a former member of the US army's elite Green Berets found to be a double agent? Who do you think was in charge of his interrogation? That's right Gina Haspel.

What about the rounding up of people on the basis of guilt by association - and sometimes less than that (the crime of having a beard or some such thing) - and then tortured.

This was not one of our finer moments ...and it was people like Gina that were responsible for these atrocities.

Then .. for her to destroy the tapes - that alone should disqualify her. There is no getting around that one.

I realize that sometimes we need to do bad things .. got it. What is an imperative however is that we do these things out in the open - with full (if not at least partial) transparency and not in secret.

If we are going to torture people then every US citizen of age should be able to view what we are doing and that is friggen that.

I am very sick and tired of the Gov't classifying its crimes. This is one of the biggest threats to our integrity - and security as a nation.

In that case according to you we need to arrest every instructor of SERE training that ever used waterboarding as a training device for the U.S. Military. BTW I'm sure that the destruction of tapes were not the idea of Ms. Haspel. She was ordered to do it. I'm pretty sure you didn't feel the same way when Bill Clinton had people whisked off the street in America and foreign countries and sent Black Site Rendition holes six years before 9/11. What part of war don't you understand? Terrorists are not signers of the Geneva Convention Protocols and they surely don't care. I saw things in Nam regarding torture that were unspeakable all under the okay from LBJ. But hey he was a Democrat and just like Clinton it was permissible because they were and are Democrats.... Oh well.... Hmm...., then there's WACO and those poor people tortured with gas before they were cremated.
