It looks like Sessions is on his way out. This past weekend, Trump attacked his own appointee Jeff Sessions in a NY Times Interview. On Monday, Trump further attacked Sessions by calling him "beleaguered." And this morning, Trump has again attacked Sessions by calling him "WEAK."

Trump is reportedly considering Rudy Giuliani as a replacement (although Giuliani has dismissed that report) and he is also considering Ted Cruz as a replacement.

This Presidency is the veritable definition of a dumpster fire.

Good. Get rid of Sessions and get someone really conservative in that position.

Sessions is infinitely more conservative than Trump.

Trump is feeling Mueller breath on his neck and that's a spot that Trump has reserved only for Putin. He can't let Putin get upset so he needs Mueller gone before he become Mueller's b***h. That's why lil' Jeffie the Bouncer has to go.

The salient question, in my view, is: Who is leaking the phone calls of the POTUS?

Little republican Beauregard is getting exactly what he deserves for throwing his support behind an unstable, fickle con man.

Been just hilarious watching the day-to-day drama in this train-wreck of a presidency, along with the sheer dysfunction and incompetence of the republican-controlled Congress...

    LMAO

Trump gave an interview - on the record - where he attacked Sessions and has released two tweets in two days - publicly - wherein he attacked Sessions, but you want to know who is leaking the phone call where he also attacked Sessions?

My guess is that Trump is the one who leaked the phone call.

Trump is trying to bully Sessions into quitting.

Sessions prostituted himself to this comic book villain of a candidate, and has played his lickspittle ever since.

And this is how Trump rewards him. The only issue Trump has with Sessions is the recusal, a situation Sessions brought on himself (he hasn't really been all that recused, either).

Trump doesn't really like firing people. He usually has other people do it for him. Maybe he'll get Kushner to do it, although Kushner left Don Jr handing out in the breeze yesterday.

I'm sure Trump must be weighing what would happen. It's obvious that he was totally unprepared for what happened when he fired Comey.

He had better talk to McConnell about it first (although I'm certain he won't).

McConnell fought hard for the Sessions nomination, and it was one of only two things the Trump Administration has been able to point to as any sort of accomplishment (that and letting a bunch of bankers and oil company lawyers in through the back door to take a meat axe at those pesky regulations on thier businesses).

After Trump attacked his own party for not doing enough to protect him, I'm sure he'll get a warm response!

And how do we know old Orrin isn't KBG?

No matter what we do, we end up with a Republican administration and it's not faaaaiiirrrrrrrrr.

The temperamentally unstable narcissist is still fixating upon his opponent who received 2.9 million more votes in the 2016 election, and fantasizing about his alternative-reality scandals that he needs to substitute for his real ones.

"Blame Beauregard!" is just one more example of hysterical incontinence.

I'm not getting why Trump blames Sessions' recusal for Mueller's appointment. He lit the fuse when he fired Comey.

I hope Sessions hangs on to the bitter end, it'll drive Trump up a wall! ;)

You apply a reasonable standard of behaviour to a blameless whiner victim, Trump? ;)

    Is that even possible?

He's already playing to his base, and no one else, at a maximum level.

The Russian obsession is beyond the help of meds at this point. I suggest mental health counseling.
