    I never denied what Trump had tweeted, but posting an article about what Trump had supposedly said in a private phone conversation based on an unnamed unidentified anonymous source is truly pathetic.

    The article you posted claims that Trump said "What would happen if I fired Sessions?" in an private phone conservation based on unnamed unidentified anonymous source.

    At this point, we have no video, no audio, and no names of who witnessed this conversation, yet you want to believe that this conservation went as reported?

    There is one minor glitch that could muck this up -- but it would require a majority of House republicans to basically grab their knees and agree to take it up the .... to enable a pretty serious constitutional crisis.

    I looked further into recess appointments after your other post. I think it would take an adjournment resolution to pass for Trump to be able to make recess appointments, but the Democrats could filibuster. So, the Senate Democrats could prevent a recess appointment.

    It makes no sense for Trump to be making this kind of noise about Sessions, unless he actually plans to do something about the AG position. He's trashing a very loyal supporter over doing the right thing legally- for nothing. It's almost like Trump didn't realize that Mueller could get to Trump's finances and is lashing out at Sessions because of it. I'm not a Sessions fan and think he shouldn't be AG because he perjured himself before the Senate, but he doesn't deserve the treatment he's gotten from Trump.

    Fear and panic make strange bed fellows for a criminal like Trump.......he does not want to fire Sessions as it will rile up the alt-right anti-immigration base that Sessions is a part of. So he needs him to quit and yes, Trump is so obsessed with his fear of what Mueller will find that he will try to get ride of him regardless as he day trades on the media cycle.
