    Terrible meme.

    This is the first time in US history that a government shutdown occurred while all three branches were controlled by one party.

    Americans, by a 2-1 margin, blame Trump and Republicans over Democrats. Those margins also play out when comparing the instances of #TrumpShutdown to #SchumerShutdown on twitter.

    The argument was reverse. Trump agreed to the 1.6 billion then reneged and tried to get the 20B and Schumer said no.

    One, the Congress and the WH are GOP.

    Two, four or five senators GOP would not vote for the Graham-Schumer compromise.

    Three, neither would Trump.

    Four, the American public is overwhelmingly not going to agree with the Mngams of the country.

    Yep..and the shutdown happened during Obamas second term...an look what happened, Republicans won the next election. Trumps shutdown happened during his first term...with his side having the majority.

    Lets see how the country votes this coming election.

    The republicans are in the mist of a cleansing, but unfortunately, it still has a long way to go. The Democrats will be going through the same thing the next time they are in control. I truly believe the only thing that is holding the parties together is the deep hate they have for the other party.

    The keeping open of the government has nothing to do with DACA. The Democrats are the ones trying to tie it to the bill. What is your objection to building a wall to help keep out criminals, drug smugglers, those who traffic in the bondage of woman and men in the sex trade and illegal aliens?

    I voted for Trump for two things, the economy and border security. I could give a rats ass if the DACA stay but we need that security and if DACA is what he use's for ransom, so be it.
