Oh really? which map are you talking about? Can't seem to find any maps in the past 2,000 years (before 194 that show Israel. Most say Palestine or Greater Syria or some other "provincial" reference, but none that says Israel.

Israel has been occupied by many conquerors for a couple thousand of years. Learn about history.

 

Why is this our fight? Why are we helping religious jerks secure their "holy land" from other people? It kind of made sense to support Israel in the wake of the Holocaust, but things have not turned out so well since. I think the UN provides a forum for smaller nations.

 

If Hitler had really achieved his "final solution", the U.N. would have no purpose. Its only goal is to finish what Hitler wasn't able to do.

We were key to creating the UN as a debating society because the League of Nations went too far in our opinion in setting itself up as a quasi world government. How can a debating society do whatever it is you think Hitler was planning?

The UNGA can declare anything "null and void" - it can do nothing to prevent Israel from enforcing that law.
