So you are suggesting that the U.S. adopt "Australian-like gun laws"? Laws that had the requirement of mandatory turn in. Or in other words confiscation of personal firearms by the Government.

If this is your solution then good luck with that in America.

Yes because the only variable is a gun.

There are at least 5 times as many firearms in the US per capita and we have a 1 per 100k higher suicide rate.

Maybe we should do the same thing in Japan and South Korea. Oh wait.

If we had the same intentional death rate as Japan we'd lose 15k more lives per year to suicide and homicide.

    Still waiting for your response:
Recalling YOUR words: "I would prefer the attitude of the Founders, and their time."
What do YOU think the Founding Fathers meant by "shall not be infringed"?

Perhaps something was missed. Precisely where in the quoted post was it claimed that a person can be stripped of their citizenship as punishment for a crime?

None of which changes the fact that the waiting periods were responsible for the victim being murdered.

Such is of no relevance. The victim was unarmed and thus unable to do anything to defend themselves, and the state was doing everything in its power to ensure it remained that way.

How many billions to trillions of dollars will be required to actually make such an attempt in changing the laws of the united states to reflect the laws of the nation of Australia?

The nation of Australia is a tiny, remote island, that has nothing in common with a continent physically linked to other countries, one of which is that of Mexico.

its one of the leaders in actual gun deaths. The wealthier areas of chicago have low gun deaths. The gang infested areas have massive numbers and rates of gun deaths

Why would the city of Chicago have more motor vehicle-related accidents and heart attacks than other cities? What makes the city of Chicago so unique in regard to these categories, that they actually have more than others?

You can't put a price on human life. Stricter gun laws would benefit Mexico too. Too many US guns are trafficked across the border.

Do we ignore the Constitution to save lives? Why haven't we required full NASCAR safety gear for all drivers and passengers in cars?

Sorry, this entire position has already been discredited. US guns got into Mexico via our supplying of their military and law enforcement, and corruption saw those guns pass to criminal enterprise. More illegal guns in Mexico come from South America, where the Soviet Union spent decades trying to prop up pseudo-communistic states through flooding them with Russian made military arms.

The Obama administration purposefully sent guns into Mexico for the express purpose of raising death rates in Mexico so that they could push stricter gun laws here, and Americans lost their lives because of it.

Notice. The lie of the OP. Deaths have jumped the last few years because of the drug epidemic and mostly in inner cities. The OP tries to tie it to the Heller decision. That is how the VPC rolls.
