mebbe the right wing will be happy if we took these statues to Southern cities as they are known for honoring warmongers and trouble makers

who among you will pay for their relocation there?

Once this election season passed and the Democrats have moved on to the next methods they will use to create racial conflict and disharmony., most such statues would be investments of increasing value as antiquities to which ever private owner had them. However, the government now hordes, rather than sells, assets it no longer wants or used. How many millions of square feet of empty government buildings are there?

Even I see your post as fun and joke ... let me extend the joke a little bit:

Because the Righties are known to love communists so much, I think it will be a good idea to post statues of Lenin in deep conservative Old-Righty parts of the USA and sell it to them as "symbol of victory in cold war over communism", eh? :-D

As example, while Ebay bans their sale and having such a collection has been used by Democrats in a political attack in the past, WW2 and Nazi memorabilia in increasingly valuable. A particularly clean German Luger will cost many thousands of dollars and any WW2 or pre-WW2 German Luger in excellent condition with any history to it can run into tens of thousands of dollars. It has nothing to do with white supremacy or Nazism. It has to do with collecting.

Civil War memorabilia can also be very valuable, Union or Confederate. A restored Gatlin gun now will sell for $150,000 to $200,000. However, if it had markings on it and it could be proven it was used in a specific major Civil War battle, double or triple the price. The same for Civil War firearms and artillery pieces. An original excellent condition Confederate cap could sell for as much as a thousand dollars. A complete Union or Confederate uniform in good condition? Tens of thousands depending on size, quality, rank and how ornate. Can't even guess how high the actual sword of Grant or Lee, or even their saddles - if could be documented - would go. The swords? Maybe hundreds of thousands.

The huge Dallas 5 figure Confederate statue set and memorial would likely sell for millions now and in the future could be worth tens of millions.

When I say Muscovites, I tend to use it as a jibe.

Why not remove them, SU collapsed, it's useless.

All artifacts go thru a cycle, just like antiques. They decline to junk - until they become antiques. "Evil" antiques and antiquities can bring a VERY high premium. Statues of Lenin that now are melted down to recover the brass or just put in the dump, in 50 or 100 years could be worth hundreds of thousands to millions, depending on size, quality and other aspects to make it desirable. If Ukraine put such statues of Lenin up for sale in the USA it would raise millions. If the price right, shipping included, I would buy a good, interesting on as an investment.

I mean, no one would want an original bust of evil Roman Emperor Nero, would they? At least not if the price was too many hundreds of thousands of dollars anyway.

Send ALL hated the statues to me. The more hated the better. I will absolutely keep them 100% out of sight and covered up so no one sees them - except for potential buyers anyway.

Left-wing progressives who are busy taking down Confederate statues will be very upset to hear about Lenin statues being taken down in Ukraine.

For sure! Open minded and unprejudiced places like Bob Jones U, Liberty, and even BYU would start the bidding. ;)

Ukraine is a worthless country to us. They are not our ally, or even in NATO. Don't care about them. They are their own nation and can handle their big boy problems

I'm sure his lefty electorate will oppose him. But the real question is why does Seattle have a Lenin statue to begin with? Are they aware of how much death and destruction that guy is responsible for, or do they just not care, because they are socialists?

Destroy monuments and burn books - it's very European.

In keeping with Mandelus' post #7, think of the difference between our civil war statutes and USSR statues in Ukraine. The war between the north and the south was internecine, or within the family, society, culture, country. The USSR statues were of an outside invading tyrannical force, and removing them makes all the sense in the world. I don't think removing confederate statues is a good thing or accomplishes anything for the United States. But I would have been fully in favor of removing statues and vestiges of British generals, admirals, governors and monarchy following our Revolutionary War.
