    Because my argument is now made, as proven by the fact that you are unable to make a counter-argument. So you now resort to making up arguments an ascribing them to me. a.k.a. putting words in my mouth. Which, BTW, turns out is against forum rules. But only the feeble-minded would care. Myself I don't mind because, in your case, it indicates that you have no arguments to counter mine.

    You need to move to Venezuela, then. Because you ain't going to get it here. Nor are you going to get anybody to advocate for you to get it. You will get a Venezuela-like dictator here called Trump, though. If you can settle for that!

    Private insurance does not mean that you dont have to subsidize others. You have to pay for your gov insurance, their gov insurance and your private insurance

    Oh, you're advocating paying as much for your insurance as the guy who makes 20x your income?
    Because if not, you're looking for subsidies, free stuff

    No one is advocating that, the country would bankrupt. Everyone knows most people making 20 times the average American has a negative tax rate, or is that just the billionaires and their companies? I can’t remember.

    I have all those things without the assistance of government. I'm happy to see them guaranteed to all Americans provided it doesn't cost me any more in taxes and it doesn't mean I go without anything.

    I've argued for universal coverage, but at the end of the day, Canadians can't visit specialists without first seeing their primary care physician. I think that's smart, but I don't want that to be required of me.

    If the only way to get decent health insurance is to work for corporation then employer based insurance is a form of forced labor. Another name of the forced labor is a slavery. There is no need to be college professor to recognize such phenomenon. Unfortunately U.S. government actively assists corporate establishment promoting the enslavement of U.S. citizens.

    Getting back to the OP, free college education is up next. I'm going to get me a degree in lesbian dance. And you guys are going to pay for it. May get me a post grad masters in this important discipline.

    Doctorate? Hmmmm. Why not? I ain't paying for it.
