what's funny is that you actually think your infantile thoughts show somekind of supernatural insights. It reminds me of a bit of scripture. Romans 1:22- 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. These words of Holy Scripture being played out before our very eyes. Those who seek to continue to justify their rebellion are becoming increasingly foolish in defense of that rebellion -- which becomes harder and harder to maintain as the evidence mounts up against them.
I dont believe in the supernatural at all, so that seems a very stupid comment. So it reminds you of more drivel you subscribe to? Sorry, I find that funny, not insightful. These words of Holy Scripture being played out before our very eyes. [/QUOTE] They aint holy and no, they dont predict the future. Really? So why is it my opponents, such as here, are incapable of showing ANY evidence against my position or indeed, close to any substantial argument?
I've always found it rather.....convenient....that God only showed himself way back in ancient history before any scientific standards existed, and when human knowledge then compared to now was like comparing a pebble to a mountain. It's very convenient that the most fantastical theory that claims to be real has stopped having it's "evidence" shown to us on Earth. In the ancient days, God was doing miracles left and right. Floods, fire from the skies, killing first born sons, creating different languages, burning bushes, parting seas, and who knows what else I've missed here. Why did he choose to reveal himself in the ways that he did to people that would have believed anything, even that a simple flashlight was magical?
Really? Do me a favour and follow these steps 1) Open up a new Tab on your Internet Browser 2) Type Google 3) Type "United Kingdom" on the Google tool bar 4) Click on the first link and bingo! 5) For an alternative, look up the world Atlas 2012 edition and you'll locate and identify UK Heck there's more evidence out there that proves Aliens exist rather than God.
LOL God is like the Christian's big brother who's gonna scare us and beat us all up for picking on little Christer!
Lulz. Wow indeed! Does he speak to Your Eminence? Is Your Eminence more worthy (and less vain) than all these crazy atheists, agnostics, Jews, Zionists and "false" Christians?
Hold it right there. Why do you believe that? Did Zeus show himself to the Greeks then, too? Odin to the Norsemen? Krishna to the Indians? ...
Has your favorite deity shown himself to you? Please describe him and tell us what he told you. I'm having dinner today with Brer Rabbit. He really likes fresh carrots. Next week I'm spending a few days with Tarzan, Jane, Boy, and Cheetah at their jungle tree house. Tarzan is going to show me how to do ape calls. He said that we could go visit the talking snake and talking zebra if the weather was nice.-+--
Yep. People don't rise from the dead or "ascend into heaven." Additionally, Jesus' story is obviously a solar myth. And then there's the fact that people make stuff up all the time. Then you have the lack of any Roman records of Jesus and his crucifixion. Given all of this, I find Jesus' existence to be in doubt. Was the character based on a real man? That's possible.
