Zimmerman Trial (Friday July 12th) ~ Continued MOD ALERT

And all the protesters out in front of the Court House are chanting "No Justice. No Peace". We spent 3-4 weeks on a trial after months of preparation. Millions of dollars. 50 witnesses. Jury of peers. And what are the jackasses doing ? Getting ready to protest the verdict !!!!

This is not about the First Amendment. This is about intimidation and threatening violence.

 

Everyone is awaiting to see the jury does lol

Seems they're taking this very, very seriously (as you would hope) and they're probably going over evidence now. This is how justice works.

It seems like they think that by protesting it will influence the jurors I guess. Something to definitely keep an eye on.

 

No. A minor maybe, but far from a child. I have six children. None were expelled from school for smoking pot, none run around with gold teeth and 20 lbs of bling, none wear poopie pants and hoodies and creep around neighborhoods in the dark carrying a slim jim. This older teen was making horrible adult decisions about drugs, appearance, and about breaking into cars and homes with a slim jim. At night children are home with their parents doing homework, watching tv, or talking to their friends on the phone. This was not the case. This is a young adult thug who smashed the wrong head into the ground and paid a very fair price for that act.

 

So how long does Judge Nelson wait before she recesses the court for the evening? I know the jurors have to come back tomorrow if they don't finish tonight, but what about everyone else?

Ok, we're in session with a note from the jury ... *the jury would like to adjourn tonight and be back at 9 am for deliberation continuance*

Jurors released for the night. Return in the AM @ 9:00

 

They had a brief session after the jury went into deliberation because the jury requested a complete list of the evidence. This is not going to be a cake walk for the defense.

 

US Bill of Rights says he doesn't have to get on the stand and become a credible witness. Some people get very very nervous and confused when confronted or interrogated, and that is certainly not against the law.

 

Most likely they took a preliminary vote but we won't know what is until the post-verdict news conference should they hold one and tell us ..

 

These folks have to work weekends too? For $50 a day? They can't even go home for the weekend and just enjoy the weather with their families? I would refuse to be a juror. $50 a day, sitting in uncomfortable seats, crappy food, and working weekends. Hey wait - that sounds like BASIC Training! LOL

How does a juror even know what to do? Do they give out instruction manuals when you start?

 

Preach on brother........amen to that. If Trayvon's father had stayed home with his "child", who had just been suspended from school for the third time and banished from his own mother's house, his son would be alive. Instead he went out partying with his girlfriend........unleashing his thug son onto an already brutalized neighborhood.....and the rest is history.

 

Alright.....not like anybody cares.....but here is my verdict.

Whatever lesser charge applies and time served.

The only thing that wil always bother me...is how Zimmerman observed Martin at a safe distance, without being able to see him, untill has was at an unsafe distance.

Zimmerman was following Martin, but that's not a crime, and not everything Zimmerman said was true, but nothing he admitted to was illegal.

 

They'll make millions more in book deals and appearances if they vote Guilty than acquittal ...

You're kidding right ? You're not at all versed in the facts of the case.

 

He wasn't nervous or confused, more like crafty and cunning.

 

The school punted him for being a pothead, and he had pot on his hands and in his system when he died (as well as in his school locker in the past). Another poster already posted about the slim jim and how the police already found it. There are plenty of photos of him with those thug gold teeth and bling, and posts of him bragging about beating the crap out of people. Stop being a travyon apologist and lying / making believe all those things didn't happen.

Being a sneaky pete isn't a crime either. You do know that even police officers that shoot someone are treated for emotional trauma and given time off, right? The police unions negotiate for that. But this guy wasn't afforded any of that - he was thrown into interrogation rooms and made to recount the story a gazillion times. And cops are trained to handle these situation - this young man was just a civilian.

 

Too soon to say that. They did ask for a list of exhibits and documents. They are taking this seriously, and not just buying into Z's crap.

The lynch mob wants their version of justice not true justice.

 

I just don't think what Zimmerman did warranted being beaten to death. I think he did what was necessary in that case. I don't like the fact he got out of the vehicle but that still does not warrant a beating like that. I hope he is found not guilty on all charges and this was in no way influenced by the media.
