Mircea, actually, it does not unhinge the ACA's constitutionality in the slightest.

That has already been decided. It is what it is.

You dont need insurance for that stuff.
    You only need catastrophic coverage.
Youd pay way less in the long run

It's not up to you to ever tell what coverage I need. Ever.

    Why?
You're on here telling me what mine needs to be and that I have to pay for yours too, so that you can run to the doctor every time your butt hole twitches

And how the f*** am I doing that? I pay for my coverage, you pay for yours. You're the jack*** that wants to determine my coverage. You want only catastrophic cover, fine. I want full coverage. You buy what you want, I buy what I want.

And every time I see a doctor, I pay a copay, $30 for my regular doc, $60 for any kind of a specialist, $60 for an urgent care clinic visit, $150 for any emergency room visit. I pay not anyone else.

I pay more for the guy just to look at my car.
Looks like you're getting a bargain.

Screw you. I'm paying my copay. You don't want to buy full coverage health insurance, that's your problem.

And you pay more for the mechanic to look at your car? Then you're getting screwed. My dealer charges a $60 diagnosis fee, which gets applied to any repair. Looks like you're not the sharpest tool in the shed.

And, dipstick, in what way do I have my hand out? By having health insurance with more coverage than want for yourself? Health insurance I pay for? You're demented. Another right-wing whackjob.

One can't buy homeowners insurance with the pre-existing condition of one's house having burned down. One can't buy collision insurance with the pre-existing condition of one's car having been wrecked in an accident.

Completely idiotic analogy, since A) things that qualify as pre-existing conditions tend to increase with age, and B) sometimes a person is born witj pre-existing conditions. One of my younger cousins was born in 2005 with a heart defect, that was treatable surgically. When my uncle was exploring the option of becoming self employed, and,was looking into how much health insurance was going to run, Aetna, United Healthcare and Anthem BC, among others said "pre-exiating conditions, no insurance for your daughter".

You clowns don't get it: prior to the ACA, the health insurance companies used things that were treated, and gone, to claim "pre-existing conditions" excuse to deny coverage.

Insurance if for possible future losses. It's not for past damages.

I can insure my house against damage. I can't insure my already damaged house. That's not insurance; that's charity.

When I'm paying for insurance, it's not charity. It's the service im paying for. And you hide behind your b.s., and don't address the issue of insurance companies denying policies to people for something treated. Like denying coverage to someone who is on Crestor or Lipitor. Or denying a woman cover for having had a hysterectomy and using prescription esteogwn patches. All you extreme rightwingers are a bunch of chickens***.

Sorry but stupid analogies are just stupid analogies. If your house is damaged and you haven't insured it the taxpayers do not pay for you to fix the house. If you get sick and don't have insurance you get fixed anyway and stick the taxpayers with the bill.

By wanting to price fix other peoples professions for your benefit and have your fellow citizens subsidize your costs through a tax funded single payer scheme.
    But you knew that

I'm trying to price fix the health care profession? Or is it the health insurance profession? Health care already gets price fixed - by both the government through Medicare & Medicaid and the health insurance industry. And health insurance already gets plenty of regulation, before the ACA, starting with Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. Go look it up.
