Mueller has subpoenaed the Trump Organization, a red line Trump has sworn should not be crossed. Mueller crossed it and as he is closing in, Trump is involved in spring cleaning as he fires some of his people and is accepting the resignations of those that quit. Gone are Gary Cohn, Rex Tillerson, John Dowd, and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster. And that is just in the past few weeks.

They were the moderates. Trump is now joining the ranks of the extremists and he is replacing the cooler heads with extremists.

He is listening more to Peter Navarro, a Democrat and a strong believer in protective tariffs. He is largely responsible for Trump's tariffs that are causing so much misery on Wall Street and will likely result in trade wars with China, Japan, as well as others. This is a severe threat to both the American and global economies, but Trump might get a few more votes from steel and aluminum workers. That was tried in Pennsylvania recently, and Trump's candidate lost.

Lawrence Kudlow is the incoming head of the National Economic Council. Kudlow is a true-believing ideologue firmly encamped on his party’s right flank. He is a television commentator.

John Bolton replaced McMaster. Bolton’s regime-change rhetoric toward North Korea and Iran may lead to a hardening of policy, allies believe. In South Korea and Japan, there are fears that Trump is preparing for war if talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, expected by May, fail to yield breakthroughs. Trump hired him away from Fox News.

Last, but not least, veteran Washington attorney Joseph diGenova's joined Trump's legal team. DiGenova is a conspiracy theorist who believes that the F.B.I. and Justice Department framed Trump. He has made several appearances on Fox News.

What does all this mean? Well, some are saying the impeachment charges can't come fast enough.

    Or the 25th Amendment protocol.

The 25th Amendment is inapplicable to anything done in or by the Trump Administration to date as a matter of irrefutable U.S. Constitutional law and not opinion. It's not some "path B" to impeachment, lulz. Dream on ignorant armchair Conlaw "scholars" of the left, ain't gonna happen.

China isn't going to go to war for the North Koreans.

    It isn't 1950 anymore.

A president isn't required to have a White House Chief of Staff. President Carter tried it for six months.

Obama went through five Chiefs of Staff in eight years.

Most President's Chief of Staff last about two years then they are replaced.

    It's a tough job.

You seem to have it occupied at the moment.

So just to be clear, you no longer think Putin is in charge right?

With Tillerson and McMaster out, I don't think the Cabinet has the Will to do it.

Congress would give the 2/3ds, but the VP and the Cabinet, at this point, do not have the Will.

He's going to stay until he is voted out of office or he quits. There are no grounds to implement a 25th amendment challenge. Being incompetent, impulsive and inept are not grounds and there is no way to force him to a doctor or in for a psyche eval let alone make the results public.

We have to make him so personally miserable he can't stand the job one more minute.

That does not meet the criteria for 25th amendment action -- not that it matters to the coup people.

Oh I think you're wrong there.

I think starting a nuclear war because he's having a bad day shows a level of mental "issues" that absolutely should trigger the 25th.

Having surrounded himself with idiots and sycophants insulates Trump from that "danger" however

Having a bad day and starting a nuclear war because of it certainly does.

    You disagree?

Activating Section 4 of Amendment 25 has about the same odds of being achieved as changing the Constitution. Trump's base and Republicans in Congress have proven to date that they don't care how much of a bafoon Trump might be so getting any of them to take steps to remove him is highly unlikely...no matter what Mueller digs up...

For me it's two things; First Trump is an embarrassment to the USA and the Constitution. Second, Trump is ill-prepared to manage the federal government and the nation's future...

Hillary is gone so how stupid to keep talking about her?
The actions of the current president have nothing to do with liberal or conservative...

I have no use for Trump or Pence and both for similar yet different reasons. I used to believe in the balance of power in the federal government but Trump and the current Congress have proven it's 100% self-serving politics and 0% what's in the best interest of the nation...

Yes...I do have 'my' subjective opinions of what I expect in the President, the VP, and Congress. Trump is ignorant on all levels of government and his actions to date prove this. And this is without discussing his personal trappings of porn stars and multiple gal pals and paying people off to keep quiet. I will not argue any of this with any of you. Either people think Trump is acceptable or they do not...I'm in the latter group...
