None of us know what kind of people were held in that prison so you cannot simply turn a blind eye and speculate that the only people in there are Jihadists, but you have to wonder what kind of people get send to prisons like these. The figure of 13,000 deaths is also the highest number, a bit shady to not accurately mention that between 5,000 and 13,000 people were killed, not 13,000 exactly.

I condemn the killing of innocents, but if these people were criminals then they got what was coming to them.

 

First of all no one knows if that number is true, and if it was, if they were terrorists. All we have is what the propaganda networks are saying.

Now how about this. A church was just opened and dedicated in Damascus to the Greek Saint Paisius, who was a refugee from Asia Minor. He is highly revered by the Russians as well as the Syrians not only for his holiness, but for having foreseen three decades ago the tragedy in Syria ...among other things.

Had it not been for Assad who is an Alawite with close connections to the Syrian Church, these people and the rest of the Christians that found refuge in Damascus, would have joined the hundreds of thousands of Christians killed by the terrorists, who some very evil people are now trying to present as victims for their own political expediency.

This is already expected and somehow I could say that the previous administration of Obama is right about this weakness of Assad, which was made a basis for US intervention into Syrian conflict.

 

The Syrian economy crashed in 2005.. Baathism hasn't made Syria stable. Look at the sectarian strife and military coups since 1949.

 

A holocaust of terrorists that destroyed the lives, homes and livelihood of millions of Syrians? Why not ask the minorities in Damascus that Assad saved from sure death what they think... or better yet take a look at the videos I posted, that way you will know what all the Syrian people think.
