And to get them money they have to be put back to work. And that "fantasy" world. Bush cut tax rates and got out of the way and we had 52 months of full employment, rising incomes, soaring tax revenues and solid growth. Obama engaged in your plan of government subsistence, government "stimulus", and tax rate hikes and we have suffered ever since. Why do you prefer Obama fantasy over Bush fantasy?

republicans think throwing money at rich people creates jobs

fact is, if the bottom 45% don't have money to spend, the demand wont be there for the rich to create jobs....

How are Republicans "throwing money at rich people"? Can you give me a specific policy that does this?

If the "rich" do not have the capital to create and grow businesses then there won't be any jobs or new businesses created. If people are simply given money to spend they will not seek jobs in which to earn it.

Lower capital taxation, stop with the overbearing regulations, and get government out of the way. Works every time.

NEW ORLEANS — Republicans show little enthusiasm for anyone as their top spokesman, let alone 2016 presidential candidate.

Picking a leader is a new dilemma for modern Republicans. For decades, their next presumptive presidential candidate had been the person last elected president or vice president, or came closest to winning the nomination.

Not in 2016. There's no logical front-runner, and polls show a cluster of well-known names bunched together.

Can you name a Republican-backed tax cut in the last decade that doesn't primarily benefit the wealthy?

If a business doesn't have a broad consumer market (because potential consumers don't have the disposable income to afford anything other than necessities), the business has no option but to downsize in proportion to customer demand.

If consumers are plentiful, the business has no option but to expand operations to meet expanding customer demand.

Consumers drive "job creation", not financial hoarders.

On 2017, President Jeb Bush will return some sanity to our economy! He will promote jobs and help the middle class. This will be in contrast of Obama's wasting money when he came in. "Cash For Clunkers," REALLY! stimulus helped over paid union bosses and workers.

At least, Jeb or another republican will be competent, and help ALL of American, not just the progressive masters as Obama has done.

Jeb is fairly conservative, as are most other potential GOP candidates...
Who was the last conservative politician (I won't even limit my question to presidents) that did anything to help "ALL of America" rather than just the wealthy that lined their pockets?

Their masters are demagogic radio entertainers, not politicians, and their preoccupation is pleasuring themselves by relentless kvetching rather than proposing viable alternatives to whatever issue has their frillies in a bunch. That formula for failure in national elections is only compounded by the demographics that guarantee the shriveling of their ranks. Relying upon the electoral votes of the worst-educated states is a doomed strategy.

Whilst we're fantasizing about alternative history in advance, we might as well have Jebby ram comprehensive immigration reform down the throats of the GOP's hardcore nativists, and contrive pretexts to overthrow a Shia dictator and launch another two trillion dollar nation-building fiasco in Iraq. (Since Pappy Bush restored the repressive al Sabah clan to control of Kuwait, messing with Iraq has been a Bush family tradition.)

Not surprisingly, you've got it arsebackwards.

Under our government of, by, and for the People, the masters of those folks are the American electorate.

Tell that to people who now have to buy a private produce just because they were born.

If any pantywaists are hellbent on being deadbeats, they can voluntarily self-deport.

As GOP presidential nominee Willard Romney explained the constitutionally-compliant individually-mandated approach, it is the "ultimate conservative idea."

No doubt about it, you progressives infect and screw up everything. Now that "Romneycare" is failing and the role model for another progressives wet dream, you should just be pleased as punch.

Nay, Willard's "ultimate conservative idea" is here to stay, despite the strident bellywhinging of the pantywaists.

Until GOP politicians offer a viable alternative that retains the popular provisions of the Affordable Care Act, they're just blowing smoke up the TPs' brainpan.

So you're saying if the rich don't have the money, they won't be able to create jobs?
The wealthy have more money now than at any other time in history, so where are the jobs?

Is someone really going to blame Romney for the affordable care act?
