The problem with that reasoning is that Trump doesn't know what he doesn't know. He has no clue about Israeli history because
he doesn't read, and needs to follow this kind of advice. He gets his history from TV and has said so.
American lives are at risk. I hope he is right with this decision.

We all hope he has made the right decision- but this is a level 1-2 decision, not a 10.... unless you make it seem so.

And- you don't know what you don't know either- none of us do. And, you don't know what Trump knows about Israeli history or what his advisors think.
What you do know is that you don't agree- and given that, you conclude that he must be stupid because he didn't agree with you. While that is human nature, it's becoming sort of a plague these days with everybody proclaiming their righteous and immediate judgement.
