If killing your baby was acceptable, would more women do it?

This isn't about these women having a change of heart or of becoming a Christian after doing the big nasty, rather, its about their frame of mind during the premeditated decison to kill their babies. Look, these women had months to think about and to plan this ungodly act. How in the world can someone who consciously plans to sin by deliberately abusing the 6th Commandment be considered a Christian? That would be like me saying I once played on a professional baseball team as a pitcher, but in reality I never played baseball after my little league stint at the age of eleven. Words and actions do mean something, at least they did back in the day when people had morals.

So your Christian test only applies to later term abortions then as the majority (88%) are done before 12 weeks and of those 80% are done before 9 weeks .. so no months planning it at all.

Please explain your interpretation of what morals are and how your morals are any better than someone raised in a different culture .. morals are purely based on the geography of where we are born and the inclination of the society we are born into. They are fluid, there are no inherent morals, one only has to look through history to see that morals change .. it was considered morally right for the first settlers in the US to displace and kill the indigenous population, it was considered morally right for the church to pursue and slaughter women on the charge of witchcraft and it was considered morally right for the US to invade another country under false pretenses.

Oh and could you at least try and use the correct terminology, there are no "babies" killed when having an abortion . .fetuses/zygotes yes, babies no.

So an abortionist is hired to remove something dead? LOL

Your position champions killing living human children....that is your world...and if you can stand yourself....more power to ya. I can't stomach the position.

You are making decisions that only God can make. You are deciding who can be forgiven....when you can't in any way fathom Gods love and how perfect it is. God knows what is in our hearts...He knows...and if someone who matter what they have done...asks forgiveness and it is genuine and GOD KNOWS IT...then the scriptures say...they are forgiven. And to take this even further....God forgets about that sin. It is a sin if we don't forget it....because if we don't we demean what God has done for us.
Are you telling me that not one time in your life you sinned and knew it was sin while you are doing it? Not once? Wow...you set yourself apart alright.

I agree words and actions do mean something. But no one is perfect, no one...remember that. Christians are not perfect, if we were we would not need Christ.

I'm not saying that these women wouldn't be forgiven for their murderous acts, but it would seem very unlikely that they're going to ask for forgiveness. What we're dealing with here is perhaps the most ungodly act imaginable. Do you honestly think that any of these women who have had ample time to ponder the act of abortion and still decide to get one are ever going to ask forgiveness from GOD? Lets get real here, these abortion loving women are entrenched in a secular lifestyle that gets its marching orders from the hand of Satan. I get the feeling that you're willing to overlook the acts of these aborting women simply because we're all sinners, and as such, the sky is the limit in determining what is right and what is wrong, or perhaps what was considered wrong once is now considered a right just because we're all sinners.

Of course I've sinned and knew I had at the time, but once again we're talking about perhaps the most serious sin under the omnipresent ken of GOD ALMIGHTY, and a sin that had ample time to ponder.

Okay, we all know that Christians aren't perfect, so can we get on with discussing the disgusting and ungodly acts of abortion as they pertain to these un-Christian like mortal women?

Depends on you interpretation of immoral and moral, morals have no place in law.

Well for a fact they are not "babies", so I don't need to keep telling myself that . .you have to keep telling yourself that they are "babies" even though you know that is untrue.
I have never said that abortion doesn't deal with anything living, or anything human .. so yet again more untruths from you.

doesn't matter how many times you repeat these untruths the facts never will change.

As this isn't aimed at you why do you feel the need to reply and I'm sure Anders is a big enough boy to deal with it.

and if you actually bothered to read properly my comments do address the issue, the issue being Anders unhealthy fascination with these things.

    Libhater said,

Even the most hardened criminals have fallen at Christ's feet. Why would say you unlikely? How do you know?

    Look at this scripture...

"For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all."
    James 2:10

What does this mean? It means there is no such thing as a little sin. And Jesus can forgive all sins, big and small. We're all sinners....

The most ungodly act is to take the name of the Lord in Vain. I don't think that you have really read about the Apostle Paul have you? He killed for a living. He was a Christian persecutor. He encouraged the stoning of Stephen. King David.....adultry with Bathsheba, killed her husband. So he was an adulterer and a murderer. Then we have Abraham who directly disobeyed God. Why would God pick such sinners to do his work?

So your saying that your sin was ok, cause it was little. LOL Actually the abortionist kills...his act kills. His hands do the killing. Of course the woman hires it done...but if the doctor refused killing, actually doing it...there would be no killing.

Your very name...LIBhater...says that you hate liberals. What does God say about that? So you want people to believer your words...about how abortion is wrong according to God...but hating is ok. Yea? REally?

Wow...i think you should begin by reading the scriptures and asking the Lord to soften your heart towards other sinners. If he could forgive you of your teeny weeny sins as you put it...how can you not forgive others?
Your name implies you hate....is that Christian?

This isn't about me at all. I'm not the one aborting babies. You need to get out of that secular church for a moment and smell the aftermath of the wickedness of these women. Either you condone their killing of these babies or you don't. Which is it?

seems like that's what women are doing when they scream to the top of their lungs that someone is trying to take away their rights — because that's exactly what they're trying to do to the life within them.

Just a reminder .. fetuses don't have rights, how can you remove something they don't have in the first place .. the mind boggles at the innacuracies of the pro-life argument.

Keeping in mind that I like to do thinking exercises, sometimes playing the 'Devil's advocate' (lovely term), let me ask the question:

Why doesn't a fetus have rights?

It doesn't meet the criteria in any of the acknowledged theories put forward:

    Roe vs Wade Standard:
The Planned Parenthood v. Casey Standard:
    In Fetal Homicide Statutes:
    Under International Law:
    In Philosophy:
    In Religion:

With respect to the theories themselves, what tells you if any or all are true or false?

A fetus does not have the ability to claim said rights.
Rights exist because they are claimed, fought for, and legislated.
A fetus is not given rights for these reasons...but also because the issuance of those rights must by definition trample on the rights of the woman who carries it.

We could ask the same of Cows and plants which we kill and eat for food.

The unfortunate reality is in order to survive we must kill and eat other living things.

Living humans at various times in history have also been used as food for other humans.

We now have almost universally accepted laws and morays against the killing of living humans.

There is no valid argument that legitimately classifies the single cell at conception as a living human.

Nothing can actually say whether they are universally correct or universally incorrect, however the weight of public opinion would seem to be in favor.
I cannot speak for any other person but myself and based upon the research I have done I would have to concur (in my own small way) that under the present limitations of medical knowledge we are currently at the "best case scenario", if medical knowledge should improve to the point where transplants of fertilized eggs, or fetuses is achieved without any risk to the woman then I would adjust my stance accordingly . .however if that instance occurs the debate on abortion would be moot.

Does a retard not have rights because he cant claim, fight, or legislate them? Just wondering where you are going with this type of logic.

Neither does the newborn. Would you argue that it doesn't have rights?

Does that mean that any rights not claimed, not fought for and not legislated are not real?
