Did Drumpf? Or was the ground laid by N and S Koreans themselves during the Olympics?

How did Trump bring these two together?

Oh, the neophytes are so predictable.

So let's put the silly hyperbole aside.

How many have had to deal with a NK armed with nuclear weapons, and a growing capability to deliver them many thousands of miles away?

Perhaps these armchair diplomats can detail how successful their previous efforts and strategies were in keeping NK under control?

I guess doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result, explains why such brain trusts have failed on such a regular basis.

Whether someone hates Trump or loves Trump, everyone should be hoping that the talks take place and yield positive results.

    LOL

Yeah, that's it. It was hockey that created a pathway for peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Nothing President Trump has been undertaking had anything to do with that historic moment between Moon and Kim.

    Exactly.

This shouldn't be about hate for the President. This is about the potential for bringing some degree of peace between millions of people.

The anti-Trump brigades are too invested to think of anyone other than themselves.

He did a whole bunch of things.

You should take some time and learn what's been going on.

Helps when you want to participate in a discussion on the matter.

Tell me all you usual suspect Trump haters, are you happier if this deal falls through? After spending last week trying to take away any positives given to Trump by crediting these talks to the Chinese and So. Korean president now, will it be Trumps fault is nothing is accomplished?

Would you rather this take place, be successful and Trump get credit or that Trump fail and be disgraced?

In other words he did nothing. If he did you'd be chomping at the bit to throw it in my face. Thank you

Drumpf: It is a waste of time to negotiate with North Korea

Good thing Kim and Moon didn't pay attention.

there's a lot going on here and it requires a chess master to play the game now. Of course the North wasn't going to denuclearize no matter if the "talks" continue. A chess player knows this and looks for a compromise, a way to keep things on track. See things long term. Next moves. There seem to be several options.
    1. limit range of missiles
    2. lift sanctions when NK declares peace and signs treaty with SK
    3. sign a non agression pact with NK in exchange for the peace treaty
    4. sign a trade deal with NK to make it dependent on U.S. for economy
motto: keep your friends close, your enemies closer.

The South and North dealings are especially interesting as something moving to center stage. Best U.S. strategy here? Stay out of it.

PS. John Bolton's comment that we see this as another Libya is, without doubt, the dumbest thing to come out of the White House in decades. Breathtaking stupidity. That alone will scotch the deal.

After getting crushed in a landslide election you will never get an honest answer to your question from anyone in the party of the depressed.

Let's be honest...the Right didn't exactly support Obama during his admin either. This is what it's come to...neither side supports the other side anymore. It's all about tit for tat. You didn't support our guy, so we're not going to support your guy.

I'm not sure losing the popular vote by 3M qualifies as a landslide.

Look up fallacy of false equivlancy because that is the stupidest use of it in years on this board.

Trump did not bomb the Norks.

He kissed their leader's ass at the end of their interchanges.

I'm not sure what your misconceptions about Obama have to do with this issue but I'm glad they comfort you.

This is so important that it should go way beyond politics or hurt feelings. NK with nuclear weapons puts this world at a risk we have not seen since the 1980s. Probably at more risk. Just the possibility, that NK would attack SK is numbing. We should all be rooting for success, whether you believe success is possible or not.

No, that wouldn't be it. You're confirming my suspicions.

I don't have the time or interest to answer such a poor question.

The actions of the President of the United States regarding North Korea have been headline news ever since he took office.

Applauding Trump for something did not happen is like Bush's minions trying to equate him with Winston Churchill.

One of the political cartoons had a baby George being taken for a walk, holding hands with WC and FDR.

So the lefties choose to take the same road as the righties? All I heard from "progressive" radio and TV for eight years is "we will never act like those republicons".
Shoe on the other foot or pot call kettle? It took fully one day after the election to hear lunatic lefttie socialists like Mike Malloy or Tom Hartman to turn 180°.

Yea! We've been through this, you got swamped. Losing 1200 seats in eight years is a ****ing mandate.
But I will let you answer the question you evaded,
Happy or sad if the N.Korea deal falls through?
