Take a look at the midterm elections. Being anti-Obama helped the GOP regain the office, being anti-Trump will work for us too.

I look forward to (at least) the next two years of liberal whining and crying.

An opinion piece published in the leftist New York Times by a liberal/progressive/socialist Democratic Party operative posing as a 'journalist'?

    Yep, lot of credibility there.

Here, read this from Breitbart, which is just as reliable as the extremist New York Times:

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...xts-before-giving-phone-to-inspector-general/

I can post just as many fringe articles as you can, although I'd say at this point Breitbart hasn't quite published as much fake news as the NY Times...

I look forward to retaking the Senate and the oval office, continuing the momentum in statehouses, and governorships, and even more seats in the US House when they are over.

The difference is, I have also gotten what I want, supplied to me by you. Its already happened, Tog. America is growing to absolutely loathe this man and they are rebranding the GOP Congress with his initials.

You have the senate and the white house?
You pushed Trump out of office?
    Nope.

You picked up a whopping 40 seats in the house, now filled with whining, crying Democrats that can't lead a platoon of Marines out of a wet refrigerator box, absolutely powerless to implement the agenda they ran on, and unable to do nothing but bait, harass and insult.

No, he was in a federal court when he was asked to recite an oath, sworn in, and promised to tell the truth.

He then lied under oath and under penalty of perjury, which any normal American would have went to prison for.

    All while president.

    You do realize this, right?

Democrats do not believe the commission of felonies while in office are impeachable offenses.

    Why?

Seriously, haven't you had all the crap the Democrats can toss by this time?

But imaginary felonies are good to impeach Trump. Strange how Democrats think.

Well sure - Trump is a Republican, and defeated She-who-Would-be-Empress
In their minds, that makes him worthy of burning at the stake.

Very true. But whether that is impeachable is a personal opinion judgement. You think it is, and that is fine. I'm not so sure -- riding the fence, as it were.......

...... nor the stupidity. You do remember Clinton volunteered to testify under oath to the grand jury -- he was not short of stupids...... at least he didn't have to borrow any of the massive pile of stupids his wife has.

You are correct, as the whole 'high crimes and misdemeanors' thing leaves a lot to individual interpretation. But back then, as I was observing Clinton's conduct, I used a simple test:

Would a normal American, if he did this in a county courthouse during a civil suit, be charged with a felony crime?

He would, of course, for such a blatant lie under oath.

If an individual lies under oath, we can expect any oath they took to protect and defend the constitution of the United States was also done with no intention of following such an oath.

The quintessential unarmed coup d' etat. I would bet you are extremely pleased trampling all over that old Constitution as you work on overthrowing the government.

You are not very good with nuance, are you? Maybe not all felonies are the same. Maybe on circumstances are the same. Maybe some crimes are worthy of impeachment, while others are not. Maybe there are a series of criteria intelligent people apply, besides just the wording of the statute, and the bare facts behind it in an impeachment matter.

There is no such thing as an unarmed coup d'état, in a constitutional system of government. If you can point to the specific constitutional breach above, and prove it with constitutional law cases, I will be happy to attend. Otherwise, stop your hyperbole and grow up. Politics is hardball and always has been in our country. Trump is not a special snowflake.

If Clinton hadn't volunteered, he would have never testified to the grand jury.

"Nuance" = "I want my standards to apply when I want them to, and to not apply when I don't want them to".

    Federal felonies are federal felonies.
Democrats do not believe the federal felonies of perjury and obstruction committed while in office are impeachable offenses.
    Period.
