If you believe in Jesus there will be evidence of conversion. You'll be a better person because the Holy Spirit will convict you of sin in your life.

That's mighty convenient. Then you get to dismiss any wrongdoing by any Christian by saying "Well, he wasn't really Christian".

I wonder, is bearing false witness one of those sins? Do you think Ron Wyatt is still a Christian given all the witness he has beared falsely?

Such as? Have you seen god? Has he spoken to you face to face? All you base your beliefs on are wha t you have read in a book.
There are many who spend much time and effort helping those who need it, bringing comfort to others etc. and seeking no reward other than the pleasure serving their fellow citizens, yet they have no interest in religion. And they are for hell? What sort of god do you serve?.

I don't know. Depends on their faith in Jesus or not. The Bible says we can't be saved by good works. I serve the One True Living God. Which god do you serve?

Yes, because God is holy meaning He is perfect and sinless and so sin is a transgression against Him.

First of all He is everyone's God, He is the Creator of the universe and everything in it. But I understand, at the moment you don't believe in Him, for whatever reason/reasons. It is your choice. But one day we will all have to bow down to Him.

    We Read in Scripture:

"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." ---Philippians 2:9-11 ESV

Well obviously you're not understanding the sacrifice our Lord Savior Jesus Christ went through on our behalf, for our benefit. And so it sounds nuts to you, it sounds nuts to you because you are spiritually in the dark that's why nothing makes sense to you. That's the condition all unbelievers are in...you are all spiritually in the dark. The day you come out of the dark and become enlightened by coming into the light you will begin to understand the Christian God/faith.

This will only happen if you want to seek God but if you have a closed mind like most unbelievers you will always be in the dark and you will never understand anything in regards to the Christian God/faith. But that's your decision, the day you find yourself being punished for your sins, is the day you are going to regret terribly but you will understand that it was your choice to be there and that you have no one else to blame but yourself.

Keep mocking God, go through your entire life sinning and continually mock God while you're sinning. The only reason people like you can mock Him now is because God gave us the free will to do so, to disobey Him, to blaspheme Him, and yes to mock Him. But we are warned that God will not always be mocked. The blasphemy and derision are temporary. There will be a day of reckoning, and, ultimately, a man reaps what he sows.

    We Read in Scripture:

"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." ---Galations 6:7 ESV

Because no one else could have done what Jesus did. We are all sinners, we are all guilty of sins and so we all should be punished for our sins but Jesus was sinless. So He was the only one that could sacrifice Himself by shedding His innocent blood on the cross to pay for the sins of mankind. He did this because of His love for us, He paid our sin debt.

And so now whoever believes in Him, believes/accepts that Jesus is their Lord Savior because He died for their sins, they will be saved and not punished for their sins.

Sadly though, all others who don't believe in Jesus/God, who don't accept Him as their Lord Savior they will be separated from God for all eternity and punished for the sins they have committed.

    We Read in Scripture:

For God So Loved the World

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed." ---John 3:16-20 ESV

    According to your Bible
[IMG] , you must sacrifice your sons [IMG]
and do everything else your god tells you to do
[IMG] , pay your tithes [IMG] X50.

    You can pray
    [IMG] to your god [IMG]

begging it to hand down more commandments that you find righteous
    [IMG]
that it might smite your enemies[IMG][IMG]

. Forgiveness, though, is not even part of the picture. Hypocrisy, on the other hand...

When Jesus returns in the 2nd coming that's when His resurrection will be proven as fact, until then it cannot be proven as fact to everyone. We will always have naysayers for the time being.

According to the fairy tale when Jesus returns everyone will curse him. So even people who don't normally curse will be saying all kinds of curse words. Imagine the Pope and the cardinals swearing at Jesus.

It's been 2,000 years already. Do you think he will show up within the next 100,000 years? When do you call the game?

You are partially right. Faith is not in the thinking mind. Faith was instilled in your subconscious before you even learned to walk or talk. It wasn't instilled by god. It was instilled by your parents and their preachers. Humans.

Nope. Faith is from God. The Bible says God has given everyone some faith.

Don't you think that people as a group are more intelligent in the year 2017 than people as a group were 2,500 years ago? So why should we believe their ethnocentric religious fairy tales when even the Bible says not to believe them?

Have you read the Qu'ran, the Shruti, the Tripitaka - all 'Bibles' of religious groups. What makes yours any different? Just as you believe yours is right - so they believe theirs is. The Bible says many things that even you don't understand.
My god? It goes by the name of 'those in need'.

What makes mine different is my book is the Word of the One True Living God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The others are all lies and the believers are deceived.

The Bible is a fascinating mix of metaphor, allegory and eyewitness accounts and is not the least bit boring..:) Personally the only people I find boring are those atheists and fundy religionists who "study" the Bible with tunnel vision and take every word literally without thinking outside the box.
That's why Jesus told the snooty priests to get their noses out of their heavyweight theological volumes and lighten up a little..:)-
"You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life." (John 5:39/40)

If anybody accepts Jesus they're not a horrible person and have therefore got a very good chance of making it through the pearlies..:)
The bottom line is that Jesus was a thoroughly nice guy, so who the heck wouldn't want to be his mate anyway?..:)

    1- "Stick with me chum"
2- "You're my best mate JC"
3- "Hey kiddo, why do you talk to commoners like him?"
4- "On yer bikes you numbnuts!"

"The scriptures testify of me". I love that verse. Notice when Jesus said those words, the only scriptures were the Old Testament. The Bible is actually about Jesus. He's on every page.

In my opinion, the best guess that can be made about the Bible:

It a self-serving history of the early Hebrew people interspersed with a fanciful religious mythology. My opinion is that the best guess that can be made about the religious aspects of the Bible is that the people who wrote the material, invented the god and put their prejudices into the mouth of the god they invented.

But they would say similar things.

It's just sad that your beliefs are built on misinterpretations and misquotes of the OT. That's clear to anyone who is prepared to study with an open mind. The Jews knew exactly what the OT was saying long before Christianity came, and that didn't include a Christian Messiah. All OT quotes by Christianity have been taken out of context. Nowhere is Jesus referred to in the OT. An open-minded study will prove that, but Christianity doesn't want it.

Jesus was a Jew - an 'evangelist' - seeking to turn his people back to Yahweh. Words have been put in his mouth by Gospel writers that no Jew would ever say. The idea that Jesus was THE son of god is against all Jewish teaching, whereas 'a son of god' is the belief that the Jews were all sons of Yahweh. No Jew would accept a human vicarious sacrifice. If that is what Jesus said, no wonder he was rejected. Every man is responsible for his own sins.
Study the OT against the Gospels and you can see what Jesus actually said. Not words put into his mouth.
Jesus 'virgin and prophetic birth' is all misinterpretation of OT scriptures. Read and study the passages of scripture - not just a verse out of context. Study Isaiah 53 in the context of the whole book where Israel is referred to as gods servant often. Understand the Jewish view of the Messianic age when the Jews will reign and all nations acknowledge the one true God of Israel.

Of course, you won't. It might disturb you too much. It did me. As an ardent Christian, preacher and Bible 'student' I found things that I had never been taught - or taught myself - and a Bible 'language' I never knew existed. I'm now agnostic. I told you, the Bible says many things you don't understand.

    Yes, powerful stuff..:)

Jesus said:- "All things about me in the law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms, must be fulfilled" ...."The scriptures testify of me....Moses wrote about me" (Luke 24:44,John 5:46)

If God is a "law of the universe", and people break that law by rejecting Jesus and fail to get on the 'Jesus wavelength', the universe will spit them out onto death row, seems fair to me..:)
