I've been labeled a racist on this very board even when I never mentioned race. It's become a tool by some to try and shut down any argument they encounter and try and get things their way. Which is a shame because race is still an issue that we live with and by tossing around words like racist with no basis only hurts discussion and progression, furthermore it's slowly killing the word itself by numbing people to the misappropriation of it. Words should never lose their power. We have them for a reason.

 

What, white people don't get pulled over? When I lived in New Jersey I got pulled over by white cops because I was driving in an area where white people don't go unless they're looking for trouble - black neighborhoods late at night.

Agreed. You should try digital broadcast TV if your in an area that can support it. I live relatively close to Mount Wilson where the transmitters are, I have a TV antennae the size of an SST and I get crystal clear reception including HD. TV channels split in to multiple signals with different programming on each so there's many more choices.

 

Not only do white people get pulled over by mistake if they have darkened windows so their race is not known, when they beat up the cop and take his gun away to shoot him the other cops tear up the speeding ticket and let him go.

Great, but hypocrisy still doesn't mean speaking out against something non-existent. It means advocating others to act in a manner that you yourself don't follow. In this case, if the players now protesting discrimination actively discriminate against others, that would be hypocritical.

Dude, the left and these players tolerate discrimination all the time. For the players they tolerate the Rooney Rule and there's no Affirmative Action for white people when it comes to the major college sports, none. That makes them hypocrites. As for the regular non athletic left, they're just racist because they don't take a side until they find out what the races are. The left are the worst racists in this country.

 

I actually have a great deal of respect for Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr was no Black Supremacist and no BLM. It's insulting to his memory and his legacy to even make such an asinine comparison. But apparently to you the only thing that matters is skin color -- so yes, Martin Luther King Jr was black and so are Black Supremacists and so are most of the BLM protesters, rioters, and looters. Seriously dude, open your mind and quit being such a racist.

 

Or looking for drugs? That's usually the only reason wealthier whites folks go to poor neighborhoods. Sometimes they get lost and end up there by mistake. Sometimes they get greeted with hostility by the residents, which is regrettable, but understandable considering how they have been treated by white people since before we even were a country. If white people were routinely treated the way black people routinely are, it would open up a lot of eyes. I think they did a sketch on that on Key and Peele or one of those sketch shows.
