More like a progressive embarrassed to support his own party. Lots of that around here. :)

Might be the same one that told him the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor and is on double secret probation. ;)

The nonsense is the argument that Wm Barr has anything to work with No one has seen anything of the sort, and we all know Comey will flatten Barr if he goes after him.

Sounds like a conservative who doesn't want to acknowledge the existence of libertarianism. Lots of those around here too. I'm to the right of Trump economically.

    My concerns regarding your list:
    1. While I support the 2nd Amendment, I don't want to do anything to encourage more mass killings in America. Since most of them use weapons that are semi-automatic & have larger than normal cartridge housings, I do support some regulations on the 2nd Amendment. I would stop all sales of automatic weapons to private individuals. I would limit semi-automatic sales to individuals with a proven history of non-violence in their lives (no criminal or violence records). I would limit the number of rounds that could be held in any cartridge housing. I would require a background check on any & all gun sales, including the used market. I would control the sales of silencers as well. I wouldn't do this to be opposing the 2nd Amendment. I'd do it to try & restrict the continuing outbreaks of mass shootings that kill innocent Americans ever month or so.
    2. I feel everyone's rights are important & worth protecting. I also feel no one's rights should limit or deny the rights of others around them. In the example you cited in your post, LGBTQ rights to marry & live in open relationships does harm to no one, or anyone's religious beliefs. If a religious person owns & operates a business that serves the public, then it must be willing to serve anyone in that public, without hesitation. To refuse service is to impose restrictions on that customer's rights as an American citizen. And, no one's rights can limit another's. Any business owner has the right to believe in any religion they choose, but they don't have any right to impose that religious belief onto anyone else around them. Refusing service to LGBTQ persons based on religious beliefs, is a way of imposing those beliefs onto those LGBTQ people, & should be unconstitutional.
    3. I would agree with this statement if the radical right would be similarly restricted, but they don't want that, do they? Trump's nominees have all been extremist, far-right devotees. Obama's last nominee was a centrist that he thought Republicans respected. McConnell broke the system with his dastardly shenanigans regarding this. Blame McConnell for the current breakdown of civility, & for the new extremism haunting the courts. If you wanna fix it, get rid of McConnell & select another leader more balanced toward the center.
    4. When owners of mega-businesses like Amazon.com, make billions of income in a single year, yet somehow manage to avoid paying anything in taxes, while those in the low-paid worker classes pay out of their nose, I say NO to your suggestion here. I say it's time to re-impose substantial income taxes onto the upper class--the rich & super-rich, who have benefited so much from our unregulated economic system.
    5. The last two Republicans have gained the Oval Office by winning the Electoral College, but losing the popular vote. That's NOT reflective of the will of the people--the American voters. If it happens again soon, I say eliminate the Electoral College, for it is undermining the principles of American democracy.

Oh c'mon. He knew before he was fired that Trump would fire Sessions and appoint Barr, so he investigated him before he lost his position and now knows that Barr is Putin's right hand man.

I acknowledge all forms but your comments seem highly partisan in one direction. How are you to the right economically of Trump?

When you misquote someone to alter the meaning of what they say, yeah that's fake.

He was referring to a crazy person the police knew about.

I favor fewer restrictions on the market, lower spending, and lower taxes. My comments in the forums are perfectly in line with libertarianism.

No one has shown that Barr has anything to work with, and no one has shown that Comey does not have the goods on Barr.

I agree with that, but good luck getting any President/Congress to lower spending. Something crazy, like 7% of our budget goes to paying interest on the deficit. We need to cut back or (and!) generate more revenue.

Oh, you are sitting in Barr's office? Listening to Comey on how he has "the goods" on the new AG and that he will "flatten him" if steps over the line?

You are just throwing out wild guesses and most of them make no sense.

No excuse for Trump. He isn't trying to cut spending. Hell, he's trying to push even more spending through and Congress is resisting. And his "plan" for generating new revenue is ridiculous and often economically self-destructive. The self-proclaimed "king of debt" warned us he'd run our country like one of his businesses. We should have heeded the warning. He was probably the least economically conservative Republican running; hell, Clinton may even have him beat in that category.
