I did not realize there was a culture war. It is more a matter of bad business practice. When a company delves into politics or other controversial issues, they are risking losing customers. Of course the business is free to do whatever their stockholders allow, but their customers have even more freedom than they do. Almost all products have a number of manufacturers and the customer is free to pick another one.

Personally, I don't pay much attention to such things, but I do have a funny story. One of my sons gave me a few pounds of My Coffee which is sold by Mike Lindell. It turned out to be really good coffee. Very expensive, but good. We had some visitors who hated Mike Lindell. They both commented on how good the coffee was. I chose not to tell them the brand.

Your claims are false. It is that simple. You project false ideas onto a group then claim they have no future.....lolz!

Sounds more like you know wokeness is dead and that scares you.

Who is attacking anyone here? Looks like another false claim. But lefties have been declaring their opposition dead for several years now. Even before Trump came onto the scene. Hasn't happened.

Have you been in a cave while the left went full bore to take away our gun rights for decades, while they pressured publishers to not print books and articles by conservatives and Republicans, while they successfully banned conservatives and Trump supporters from posting on social media, while they incessantly attacked Christianity as a sect of white extremists for years, while they pushed for years to get a bill passed (HR1) to insure Democrats would never lose another election, while ............

Try to minimize that all you want to align with what current day Democrats tell you. Facts are facts.

    Lol.

What kind of mental cart wheels and backwards logic and rational are necessary to try and come up with this?

The New Deal and FDR were a massive first step towards government dependence and inflated central government which removed power and control from the states.

    It's rightly criticized.

But.. are we moving the goal posts here a bit? I thought we were talking about slavery.

Both parties have largely retained their core values, that's just inconvenient for Democrats who try really hard to paint Republicans something they are not to try to gain votes. Basically, they are liars and the historical facts are inconvenient.

But hey, they are still dominating those black votes... so I guess their use of the African American ethnicity still reigns.

Slavery was a belief that blacks were one-third a human.

    Fail.

I'll notice you omitted the rest of my definition on some false presence.

and those democratic immigrant northerners who did much of the dying to free the slaves? general mcclellan, the democratic candidate for president? and the southern whigs who called for secession and voted at the secession conventions?

when democrats are united (as we almost never are) republicans can not win.

Those northern democrats didn't vote for the Republican president who freed the slaves.

In fact, the Conscription Act was imposed in the Union Army precisely because wouldn't volunteer to go to the battlefield against the southern democrat confederacy.

This idea that all the northern Democrats jumped at the opportunity is once again false.

if you are ok with going back to civil war times , will you also criticize the founders for allowing slavery, or will you twist that to the democrats as well....i love how you RW justify everything , but you never change anybodies mind who truly has decades of studying history, most probably before you were born
i dont pay attention to political commentators of either side i KNOW history

you simplify much history and leave out plenty, thats for sure, NOBODY was in a hurry to fight their fellow countrymen, their was great debate about equal rights and simply setting slaves free, those are more modern concepts, you really must get out of the notion everything comes down to us vs them, and your RW information sources give you one sided informatin

Why do you think the universe pivots around transgenderism?
Square pegs don't fit round holes, and trying to pound them in breaks things as Dylan Mulvaney so aptly illustrated.
When people aren't buying what you are selling, it's time to reflect: "Is it me or them?" Hint: it is you.

I thought teachers taught them to be gay? You know, when they aren't busy indoctrinating them with leftist politics.

The question I would ask my conservative, anti-woke mind virus friends is...........do you remember which teacher indoctrinated you in to conservative politics or the one who made you straight?

Of course slavery was wrong. It's why Republicans fought a war to end it.

You know what the founders did do that was great? They realized quite humbly that they weren't perfect and times changed.

With that, with a yea vote of majority Republicans, they passed the 13th Amendment.

Democrats can try and spin that fact all you want, and continue to carry the divisive line that Republicans are, and always have been, bigots and racists. It's worked getting Black folk to vote D... but we all know it's dishonest cannon fodder.

How many southern Republicans fought to preserve slavery?

My "us verse them" debate is in direct response to the Original Post.

I guess the Us verse Them mentality is ok when characterizing Republicans, but too simplistic in the face of facts?

Every point I have made is factual, and those on the left know it. It's just inconvenient to their divisiveness. So now... it isn't that simple.

    I agree.
