Well, it's usually thankless to 'guess' at what 'The Narrative' is, I suppose, but the perp probably fits one of two descriptions:

    A. He's a middle-aged White guy with personal problems (drinking, money, divorce/child-support/garnishments) and resultant poor performance on the job.
    B. He's a middle-aged Black guy with all the same 'issues' as the hypothetical White guy described above.

If the perp is a White guy, the Left will simply bitch and howl about how we need more gun control! If the perp is a Black guy, the Left will bitch and howl about RACISM, age-discrimination, and, of course, the need for more gun control! Sound about right...?

    Sound about right.

    Another obvious question:
Know what we do about the shooter, what gun control laws would have prevented this?

Well, we don't really know anything about this guy at all, so it's completely unknown how any NEW 'gun control laws' would have changed anything.

A big help would be if we would use, effectively, the laws that are already on the books -- and when an individual breaks those laws, throw his ass in prison with a LONG sentence, and, KEEP HIM THERE! The irresponsible overuse of 'parole' causes a LOT of crime and violence that couldn't happen if the criminals were kept locked away from law-abiding citizens.

But we don't know if any of that would apply in this case... the 'authorities' aren't telling us anything about this guy....

Note how this does not stop them from screaming for this/that/the other thing.
The FBI/ATF should be required to investigate every NICS denial to determine if a law was broken, and the DoJ should be required to fully prosecute all such denials.

I can buy a car and only use it on my property and I don't have to license it or insure it etc. I can drive it without a license. All what you are talking about is for using it on a public road.

If you are publicly intoxicated the police can already check you and even arrest you. If you have a gun on you they will take it into custody and return it to you after they release you.

Im not opposed to trying things. I'll be a lot more considerate of gun legislation that comes with a sunset provision. Thats a good way to try things.

No one ever includes sunset provisions with their new gun laws anymore though. I don't think they're intereted in the results.

Personally think everyone should carry and be allowed to have a weapons on them at all times. People will still die but people are dying now anyways.

List the countries with the highest suicide rates in the world and tell us if they use guns.

How are guns not already as regulated as vehicles regarding safety of those items.

Except that cars fulfill a useful function in our current society and in the vast majority of cases guns do not.

Motor vehicles also serve to facilitate far more criminal activities than firearms are capable of. They also serve to exacerbate the problem of pollution and potential climate change.

That's an opinion, guns are simply a tool, much like a car. We just collectively decide our way of life outweighs the death toll of cars. My gun serves me well, it put a wild hog on our table and recreational target shooting is entertaining and if I need if for defense, it's there.

YUUUUP! He was a black, batcrap crazy leftist.

Ferrill had also told a co-worker that he believed brewery employees were coming into his home and bugging his computer. That friend said, “I was, are you serious, Anthony? What? We all kind of joked about it, saying we should maybe get him an aluminum hat. Things just started getting weird. But he was dead serious about it.”

Ferrill’s wife posted photos of her family and expressing liberal political views. In July 2019, Ferrill’s wife attended a speech by U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren at South Division High School Gym in Milwaukee. Following the speech, Ferrill’s wife took a photo with the Massachusetts senator.

First, anyone that exhibits signs of mental illness such as this guy should be red flagged.
Second, keeping guns away from anyone that identifies as lefist like this guy would make the US one of the safest places on Earth.

Why haven't the media started in on the usual "terrorism" and "hate crime" and "white supremacy" stuff yet? They normally leap straight to that when more than one person is killed. Most strange!

Ha! You posted that at the same time I was asking why no media condemnations of 'terrorism/racism' etc.

    The implications are sickening.

From what I can tell, he was also targeting specific people he had problems with.

So while it is a "mass shooting" in the strict sense (although that's never used...they ignore mass shootings when the shooter is black in Chicago for example), it was more of a targeted killing instead of a random mass shooting.

The media is now running stories about how being the target of racism probably made him do it.

It's like they think they're actually fooling anyone.
