California teacher slams military members as 'lowest of the low' in classroom rant.

Free speech should be outlawed, and any teacher who practices it should be fired, and perhaps jailed.

It's what those who paid the ultimate price fought for after all.

 

Finally watched the video and if it was just a class discussion about the make up of the military then the people defending him may have had a point but it clearly wasn't He was denigrating and entire stratum of society and the irony is that if he was educated himself he would have know that statistically you are going to have some dumb people and some really smart people and lots of average people.

I am assuming that he has an education degree and the two softest degrees that people take because either they don't want to work that hard or they just aren't bright enough to get a real degree (STEM, medicine etc.) are journalism and education degrees. People with business degrees make fun of journalism and education majors. LOL

He is right about recruiters. They are peices of ****. They lie to young high schoolers about all kinds of **** in order to get them to enlist, because they get bonuses for meeting enlistment quotas.

My friend was tricked into signing up for a 8 year active duty double tour when he only had to do a four year tour to meet the legal obligation. The recruiter outright lied to him and told him the college tuition bonus only went to people who did at least 8 years.

Recruiters pull this **** all the time, and there is no law against it. They lie and trick and screw over young people who enlist so they can make bonuses off of them. They are FAKE soldiers, most of whom never even saw battle, who are more than happy to lie to a 18 year old kid, and send him to possible death, as long as they can get a bonus off of it.

 

this is as stupid as the Christian teacher telling his students they were going to hell cause they did not believe, what was the schools response, to tell students they could not record teachers without the teachers permission

I think we need camera's in all classrooms

The slaying of these Americans is by no means necessary. Recruiters lie about military life, happens all the time to get more gullibles to enroll. We can begin planting the seeds of disdain by talking about the Civil War, the Battle of Gettysburg, the Vietnam War, Cold War, War Of 1812, both World Wars, and of course the War in Iraq. Moreover, there are vaguely drafted "hate" and "bullying" provisions in the school board policies. The "hate" section applies to the standard classes of protection, but also to "heritage," which could fairly be interpreted to include the family composition of students and their contemplated career choices. The "bullying" section applies only to students, but could be interpreted to sanction acts by teachers that could create an environment of bullying inside or outside the classroom.

Finally, on the topic of taped conversations, it is highly unlikely that recording of a classroom speech of a teacher in front of a classroom full of students without the teacher's knowledge would qualify as an unlawfully taped conversation.

If this is not a fake story and this rant is not in the lesson plan ( it should not be in the plan but this is California after all) then the turd should be fired for not performing his job which obviously should be teaching not spouting propaganda.

The problem is that we have seen too many stories here that are Fake MUS so we need to Verify and not trust until we do that.

I had relatives go to recruiters with serving career NCO's or Officers they tend to drop the crap when your talking across someone who knows the BS and won't try it. As a rule they tended to keep this simple they knew Johnny was going to serve for the College Benefit, for example, so join the Navy pick a specialty that would teach you useful civilian skills to apply for and while in take all the college classes you can. Then get out and with luck you only need three years of college to get a degree. So the contract would cover that. If Jenny though wanted to go career then its a long term plan sign up for eight years, exploit all the training you can get and work on college since most NCO's with good degrees can secure a career now one woman in the family worked on a Cybersecurity Degree and well they won't want her to go now and the reup bonuses are sweet. They even sent her to get her Masters degree and she is Warrant Officer tracked now.

But go in cold without a mentor or serving family member is kind of a bad move and its sad that has to be the case.

 

I have seen crap like this in college. In my one and only one year in ARMY ROTC I two of us had history class on one of the few days that we had ROTC FORMATION in uniform. We were in history class the prof walks in looks at us and says something like "you two fools signed your death warrants ". We reported the Communist to the ROTC Captain ( Military Science professor) and he said that since we were a Land Grant university the idiot will get censored for that. I did not know what happened I dropped out of college and I did go to Vietnam but in case no one noticed I came back alive.

Even though i am excellent in history the jerk gave me a C- chit i could have thought that class .... it was an ANCIENT HISTORY class and the jerk off gave all short essay tests and took 1/2 of the points off if you misspelled a word. I was scrudded I cannot spell Plotopotamia or Neverkonneezor on a good day even if spell was invented back then.

 

At my high school we had a boat load of teachers who were Korean war ( and some WWII ) Vets and they were the best teachers and coaches. In fact six months after I returned from Vietnam I walked into a community college which was a new concept in my state and the dean of students was my old high school accounting teacher he told me that Vets were represented 3 times their percentage on Deans list. He said if he had it his way he would had had 100 % Vets in his school. He handed me a registration and said the application fee is waived for Vets and I was on deans list 3 semesters in a row before transferring to a 4 year school .

Five or six of my high school teachers were professors at the community college all of them were Vets.

Wow, were did you get that from my post? I'm one of the most pro free speech advocates on this board, in fact I've never reported any poster here ever, regardless of what they've posted to me. Can you say the same? Perhaps you are replying to someone else. I do believe the idiot should be fired because he wasn't teaching the course he was hired to teach. This is not a free speech argument.
