I went in (enlisted) in 1965 and the recruiter told me there is a war ramping up and all could be involved. The guy wasn't shoving sunshine where the sun don't shine. Back then apparently there was a underground railroad for cowards to Canada.

Looking at todays academia there seems to be a pattern developing here. This idiot is hardly the first or surely won't be last of idiotic academics berating the military or for that matter anyone that doesn't have the same views as themselves. Remember the white prof that called for a white genocide, does he not see he's calling for his own demise? I also think it's one way to be invited to all the liberal cool kids parties.

Here are the facts, Gregory Salcido holds his loyalty to Mexico not the USA.

Senor Salcido is a liberal Democrat, anyone not surprised ?

He is one of the Frankenstein's that Democratic party created, a reconquista Mexican socialist.

Senor Salcido should be deep fried in chimichanga oil then tared and rolled in pinto beans and sent packing across the border into the Mexican Sonoran Desert.

You should see the average for people with degrees in social work. They're barely in the triple digits.

Come out of the 40's friend. 1 in 4 young people can't even enlist because they're either too stupid, didn't graduate HS or have criminal records.
The United States military requires rigorous eligibility standards because it needs competent, healthy and educated individuals to staff the world’s most professional and technologically-advanced military. The best aircraft, ships and satellite-guided weaponry alone will not be enough to keep our country strong. To ensure a strong, capable fighting force for the future, America’s youth must succeed academically, graduate from high school, be fit, and obey the law. That is why retired senior military leaders are joining together to launch Mission: Readiness.

The most proven investment for kids who need help graduating from high school starts early: high-quality early education. It also helps kids stay away from crime and succeed in life. http://cdn.missionreadiness.org/NATEE1109.pdf

I already made that observation a long time ago.

Democrats might have more who have earned a college degree than Republicans but most Republicans who earned a degree earned a BS in the sciences like engineering while Democrats only earned a bachelor of arts in liberal arts. They are more likely to be working for local, state or the federal government and can't compete in the private sector.

I never blame the military, they follow orders, blame the ones giving the orders at the top, in this case Trump, last time Obama, before that Bush

now if a individual in the military does something bad that was not ordered, then that person gets the blame

I do partly agree, there is book smart and then there is real world smart.. some are both, some are one or the other

most people would love to be able to go to college, but can't afford it

and nothing wrong with just being book smart, they can often pass on that knowledge to many others, the world needs them too

That's just nonsense for the single fact you can't prove what countries like England, South Korea, Italy, France and other would be like today without the U.S. military! Hell, what would we be like today if we hadn't a military during the colonial war when those Brits invaded?

    Over the top Nonsense!

Doesn't matter how you leftist indoctrinate the young, as with the sixties the U.S. would simply reinstate selective service!

You've personally evaluated his mental/physical fitness, are qualified to do so, and he's given his permission for you to share this information with us?

Impressive, but hard to believe. :)

I don't think there will be any serious consequences for the teacher, nor should there be, so I guess we're somewhat on the same page, though in different paragraphs. :)

There are no conservatives in academia. If there were, they may say some odd things. But we'll never know because they don't exist.
