How is it possible that Trump got elected?

Politics today is the extreme right vs. the extreme left vs. the moderates in the middle. Both extremes want power. So they labeled the moderates as the "establishment," and that is somehow evil.

The truth is both the extreme right and the extreme left wanted chaos in Washington. They wanted to punish and replace the leadership in Washington. The extreme right won this election because of American apathy combined with Comey's interference in the election combined with a Russian effort designed to destroy the Clinton campaign. As expected, the result is chaos in Washington caused by the most unpopular and incompetent President in American history.

And you are pleased with the result. You represent the extreme right of the Republican Party. It shows with every post you make.

 

The big question here is when is the OP Hillary and all the snowflakes going to quit whining about an election that happened over a year ago. Since they cant, it is starting to border on a mental health problem. Blind unreasonable hatred that those that hate President Trump IS a mental health problem, and they may be dangerous.

 

Thank you for proving my point. Private enterprise and the business climate causes mines or factories to close, not the federal government. A part of that business climate is the desire to breathe clean air.

The reason Trump got elected is the fact there are far more blue collar and middle class workers than there are self important egotistical radical libs on the east and west coast. Fortunately this is why we have the electoral college.

"Hillary lost because she is a terrible human being." A conservative friend of mine said something similar before the election. That he wasn't voting for her because she was an awful person. I never understood that rationale given her opponent's track record. If you want to say she lost because of voter anger at the "establishment" or because government had become dysfunctional after years of Repub obstruction or because of lower turnout of the Dem base than previous election cycles, those are defensible positions. Claiming the moral high ground for a business cheat, a sexual abuser, and an inveterate liar who completely changed his politics to appeal to the fearful, angry base of the GOP defies reason and denies the facts.

 

Isn’t it amazing that Trump suddenly became all of that only when he went up against the democrat machine and democrat friendly press?

Hillary Clinton lost because she is a terrible human being. The Podesta email confirmed that, the manipulation of the DNC confirmed that, and her own words confirmed that.

Is there a denial of Trump's behavior in your reply I didn't see? Shall we review the record of his business practices, the allegations of sexual abuse, his documented habit of lying over and over? These specious attacks on the media that you folks drone on about get awfully old. If you can show what has been reported about the Groper-in-Chief is factually incorrect...DO IT. Assuming you are not saying that, if a business is unable to comply with regulations that are designed to protect us and the environment, which is one in the same, then the business should be closed. One poster pointed out that where he lives there are several trains filled with coal everyday. Apparently, those mines are able to comply with regulations. Do you have a problem with that?

 

Large majority? In Wisconsin? Are you joking or are you ignorant? Out of nearly three million votes cast, Trump won by a little over 22,000.
