    Speak for yourself. I'm not a blood thirsty war monger like Obama/Clinton and both sides of Congress.

    Well according to Friedman of Stratfor, Washington's main goal is to keep Germany and Russia from uniting and destroying its hegemony. So taking that into account, it's Washington that wants them to fight one another.

    IF you are correct, that's crazy.

    Why feed something that will bite your own hand?

    Hey, you're confusing Russia with a bunch of rogue nations...like the US for instance. Russia only goes where it is invited by legitimate governments... like for instance Assad's government.

    Those Turkmen are an excuse. If you knew Erdogan's policies, and his PM Devotoglu's book 'Strategic Depth', you would know that he wants to rebuild the Ottoman Empire...one nation at a time. He's the one that back stabbed Assad and destroyed Syria.

    Brezinski is Polish, so he has a historical animosity and fear towards Russia...as do the neo cons. So our foreign policy is based on their prejudicial rationales and interpretations...no wonder it's a mess.

    You are right though, they do want to attack Russia and cause chaos where it's most vulnerable, and that's on it's lower flanks...the 'Stans'. Russia has been providing help and training so they can protect themselves.

    That part is not only important to Russia, but also to China...since it has plans for its new silk roads to pass through those countries. It wants to avoid the Pacific and the US's seventh fleet which could block its merchants ships easily.

    I do not think Turkey has actually "blocked" the straights. They are playing a dangerous game by holding up Russian ships but I do not think they have gone as far as to actually block them.

    If they did do this I think all hell would break loose.

    I am aware of George Friedman's views on Turkey as a regional power with eyes on expansion as well as Germany and Russia getting to cozy. Pushing to the brink of war? I dunno ... unless the goal is to break from Nato. I know we lack any coherency when it comes to foreign policy but could they be that knuckle headed?

    I miss my Stratfor sub. Have always found their analysis to be well reasoned if not accurate.

    It appeared to me when NATO started poking into Ukraine. WTF is going on? Everything was going along swimmingly until the EU tried to bribe Ukraine into joining 'the club', and since then all hell has broken loose. No prize for guessing who the troublemaker is here!

    Unfortunately there is no if Merwen. I'm disgusted with our elites. Just have a look what kind of people we support. Our elites call them moderates, our elites want to hand over Syria to people like this. Bloody disgusting. There are western witnesses to confirm this story.

    I posted this on November 30.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Turkey is delaying the passage of Russian flagged cargo ships through the Bosphorus Strait.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    https://charter97.org/en/news/2015/11/30/180710/

    Vessels sailing under the flag of Russia are now facing challenges while passing the Bosphorus Strait that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara.

    Kyiv-based Center for Transport Strategies reported it with reference to data of an online vessel tracking system atmarinetraffic.com.

    As reported, on Sunday Russian vessels were moving on a zig-zag and curved course, waiting for hours for permission to cross the Strait.

    Movements of vessels from other countries were without a delay on that day. Russian vessels entered the Bosphorus late in the evening of November 29.

    Turkey did not close the Dardanelles and Bosporus. That's the Greek government propagandist's lie.

    One Battleship (156 Yamal) has passed both straits and gone to Syria in Nov 25th right after the SU-24 incident. It then returned back passed through straits again to Russia yesterday. Another Russian "navy logistics" ship just passed the straights and on it's way to Mediterranean sea. I can't believe how these people lie so easy...

    Correct apart from the last bit.

    The west wanted Hitler to attack and destroy the Soviet Union and financed him towards that end. Instead, he attacked the west first. Hence WWII. And hence the continuation of US policy to destroy the Bolsheviks that led to the cold war post WWII. I'm happy to post links evidencing this if you like (although I have already done so on other threads).

    Apart from this it has been US policy to exchange petrodollars for arms to various dodgy heads of state over the years. Likewise for terrorists too, although the "magic circle" is drug revenues for weapons in place of oil. Consequently, the US has covertly encouraged various "purchasers" to develop the drugs trade to create the income streams for the weapons to fight regional/local wars as US proxies. The US have additionally facilitated a ready and greedy market for the resulting narcotics by facilitating the delivery of drugs to the US (and elsewhere).

    So far, no information about it in the Russian mass media, so I do not think these are reliable news.

    It sounds like a New World 'Order' Trojan War is brewing. In Homer's The Iliad, the battle was long and bloody, but the Turks lose.

    You hope for the deaths of millions? Strange...because if ever the West gets into a shooting war with Russia that's a very serious possibility.
