Why did Al Qaeda foolishly attack us on 9-11?

So blowing up a empty camp in Afghanistan and a aspirin factory in Sudan qualifies as going after Al Qaeda? Hmmm, weird.

 

Clinton took Al Qaeda serious enough to perform military action, and build a counter-terrorism group with cabinet level access to combat them. Those efforts were infinitely superior to the Bush administration's efforts to stop Al Qaeda in the months leading up to 9/11....

Those efforts amounted to pretending that Al Qaeda was a figment of Clinton's imagination.

 

So you give Clinton a pass for having some meaningless military action preformed, which resulted in no net results. Never mind the fact that the Clinton administration had two years to bring Al Qaeda suspects to justice after the African Embassy bombings. How did that workout, oh wait it didn't.

 

I believe it is because they didn’t think that what Bush did was going to happen. I believe they thought it was going to be just some cruse missiles and that was it. Afterall what did Bill do? The reason why they hit the WTC is because it was the financial capital of the Untied States.

 

I give Clinton credit for doing SOMETHING as opposed to the Bush administration that did NOTHING.
